Sure sasuke can get more chakra, more jutsu, secret kinjutsu, etc, but kyuubi?

The only one I see competing with Naruto now is Gaara, but he has an inferior demon to Kyuubi.
I can see Naruto wearing the Hokage clothes in 8 years from now at most, with the rapidity with which he is growing.
He already had more chakra than a Hokage in that last fight.

First of all, you're right, Hunter, Sasuke did hit, I was wrong.

Second, sorry, this has been argued to death, but on page 7, after they hit with their attacks, Sasuke and Naruto just stand there, looking at each other. Perhaps the attacks had no real effect, and them standing there just looking at each other, with sad expressions on their faces, followed by two pictures of them holding fingers, was meant to show that they simply stopped fighting? Maybe this is why Naruto is unconcious, he thought he had accomplished his objective(convincing Sasuke to change his mind), and so stopped fighting and let fatigue take its toll. Thus Sasuke's 'Naruto....I...' was him trying to say, 'Naruto, I'm sorry, but I have my own path now.' or something like that.

Just a little thought.

I doubt that, since on the last page Kakashi says "am I too late?", and then the side it says "Naruto dead?!"

WOW!, can this manga get anymore predictable? Naruto obviously could have won that fight if he had the intentions in his heart to kill Sasuke but he didn't.

I still don't see how Sasuke won. Naruto could have killed Sasuke if he really wanted to because its quite obvious that Sasuke's power isn't even close to Naruto's kyuubi power.

just realized that naruto is ofcorse not dead, not that meny believed so but why would the anime team create filler arc if naruto is already dead.
If he really was dead, then the series would end very quickly cause itäs called NARUTO.

That's what I say. How can you kill the main character of the series. NARUTO is obviously not dead. [/INSANITY BEGIN] Maybe temporary. In a lost dimension. Mind somehow is fragmented and partially within the matrix and now he can use matrix powers in the real world because he is the ONE. Sasuke wins this round only because he was standing. Doesn't mean he one the fight as we don't know what transpired. For all we know, naruto got the mange sharigan, used it on Sasuke (which is why there were both staring at each other, then fell asleep after causing Sasuke to go insane. Then Kakashi picks up naruto, finds him asleep and is like, "Good boy."[/INSANITY END]
