They've pretty much said they want unique and distince characters only in MvC3, that's why you won't see Ken or Vergil for instance.

. Take it with a grain of salt. He hasn't explored all of the nuances and mechanics the game has to offer, since it's far from finished and thus hasn't reached its final build.

I've been reading a lot of silly statements like "This character is so overpowered" or "This game is so unbalanced already". These people just need to wait for the game to come out before making any judgements.

I don't doubt Capcom one bit. I've been following MvsC3 since announcement non-stop on the official and fan based forums, reading magazines and web published material and interviews. I know for a fact, that I better get Spider-man announced soon, because that would be ludacris to not have him in there! I love the combat system (seen from the game-play trailers). Aerials are definitely enhanced and I've already got this pre-ordered.

It'll be a dam shame if Ken doesn't make this versus entry as well. I was really bummed out that he wasn't in Tatsunoko...and it seems like he won't be in MVC3....probably not even SFXTK.

Ken's my favourite character in Street Fighter, and I really liked him in MVC2

....bring him back please Capcom...he's basically your second poster child in fighting games.

^ You have to understand that they're going for diversity in this roster. Ken is too similar to Ryu gameplay wise, and Ryu is the definitive "shoto" character from the SF franchise, which is the reason why he's one of its representatives for this game. Ryu's essential for crossovers. Ken? Not so much.

Ken would be a wasted slot, he moves almost exactly the same as Ryu and there are lots of unique Capcom characters who deserv a slot in this crossover (Megaman, Captain Comando, Frank West, Veawtfull Joe, Hauzer, Zero, Rose, M.Bison, Tron Bon, etc...)

Ken would be a bad inclusion in my opinion. He wouldn't bring any diversity to the game since he is way to similar to Ryu (who is already included for basically being one of the face characters of Street Fighter).

I called a while back that Silver Surfer is a must for the marvel roster, and it looks like his inclusion is practically confirmed now.

Niitsuma has indeed confirmed that Silver Surfer will be in this game. He even said that Silver Surfer will always be airborne on his board, and that he's meant to be used by the more advanced players. I like the sound of that complexity. He's definitely going to be on my main team. So far I've got Hulk and Silver Surfer. Who will be my third

Man I wish Capcom would stop remixing the SFII Chun Li Theme and just use her 3rd Strike theme as a base for remixes, so much better.
