It seems the change in the LN is pretty drastic. From the word in the image it seems Lyle meet the elf girl i the labyrinth.

Chapter 81:

An elf as well as a singer, the girl’s name was 【Eva】.

Her pale pink hair was long and wavy, while the color of her eyes was of the same shade.

Her white skin was also a spectacle, but more so than anything were her ears, much longer than that of a human’s.

The best thig about Eva is how she had almost no interest in Lyle as a man until lyle-san went out of his way, cornered her and promised to make her dreams come true (typical line of useless gigolo).

I've been following Sevens for almost 2 months now. And wow the stuff in here is really nice, thanks!
About the LN seems to be okay, maybe the changes are because of the editor more than author himself?
I just hope they don't take away any of the harem members!

Indeed what i hoped for when i saw that there was a LN of it is cut a little bit the slow pace at the start and give more development to some characters and their interactions with one another. For example: I like Clara but i could never really get why she fell in love with Lyle.

Vera is great, but Shannon and Aria really shine at the the last few arcs. Also hope the the two war princesses got more screen time.

I feel like Eva's lacking screentime nowadays, while May is not even at the starting line. (or is it impossible for her?)

Also, I think Lyle was being pretty pragmatic here. Marianne is an enemy, after all (as she's a subordinate of the Guild and knows about Lyle's situation). How soft-hearted can you be?

Rather than a psycho with no other reason to commit genocide than having inherited some ancestor's memories and her own jealousy of her bro, I'm more inclined to dislike someone who choose to hold someone's loved ones hostage for his own goals. How different is what Lyle doing different from normal kidnappers/terrorists? Can you call someone who kidnap your family or lover in order to get money for an orphanage a hero? And Lyle + ancestors were the ones who riled Beim against himself in the first place. He was given special treatment right until after the war when Beim asked for his assistance. Being pragmatic does not make you likable or heroic.

We aren't told enough of Celes' background story to hate her other than her curb-stomping of anyone who opposed her. Rather, we're told step-by-step how Lyle becomes what he is now. Knowing all this, I'm more surprised at the people rooting for Lyle.
