Doesn't her IS have CQC capabilities but she never uses it? Barring that, she also seems to be bad whenever opponents get into melee range.

Oh, that too. Even Houki seems more skilled than her. She's athletic for sure, but that doesn't make her a good fighter.

Well Ichika was trained by Chifuyu with the sword and trained at the Shinonono Shrine for hand-to-hand so...

He got a bit sloppy having been in the Go home Club in Middle-school but Tatenashi acknowledged his skill.

We've seen Lingyin and Ichika do it, I doubt there'd be a Representative Candidate who couldn't do at least that much.

Houki used it too against Tatenashi.

Nah, even something small, if it gives you a strong impression, it'll last forever. If something entrenched within your heart, then it'll make a template about your future self.

Such as funny, harmless occurrence in your childhood. Or wackiness of a certain workplace.

If it involves the IS? Let say people(especially females) see it as a symbol of power. What kind of event should occur such that even some females will see it as a bad thing?

1. The IS starts attacking people on its own.
2. Simply putting on the IS will somehow damage your body.

Imagine this: you have this girlfriend, you know she's kind and relatively unaffected by the social shift, but still she can't resist everything. Then it drift two of you apart, you gave up and then went into suicide/ leaving her for good.

What WOULD your girlfriend think if she's head over heels for you?

1. Hated your guts for being a coward and is traumatized
2. Hated I.S. that brought the change in the first place
3. something else.

At smaller scale, if you're female for example, suddenly you have those friend become cocky and bitchy as hell, and you might think that without I.S. it would be better.
