Why does my gut lead me to believe that he's actually married to Yui? He's got a girlfriend, a fiancee, and now I just have this feeling she has a signed marriage contract somewhere - especially since she's old enough to be wed.

That would explain Marika panicking.

Also, Yui-nee's key's rose pattern is closely similar to his pendant. And the thing that stuck in the lock is probably the broken half of Yui-nee's key.

That would be hilarious. Sadly, I don't think the manga has much time left (even though I really like the filler chapters). The fourth key has been found and the whole matter should be done with honestly.

I noticed this by watching the anime several days ago....
Marika stated before that she never meet the other girls 10 years ago
however, the previous chapter showed that Yui-nee met Marika before....
so.... Marika is lying?? or is there an unexplained event around?

well, maybe she meant to say the other girls as the ones until that part, meaning chitoge and onodera, also it could mean that yui wasn't actually there but already left when marika entered the keys clearance...yet that would instantly make her and the other girls that don't remember her the losing ones.

Even with that it still can go with "first key was for friendship and he must give the real one to his true love" or just random picked bs, but well that's just another hypotesis.

Well, Marika was inside that hospital as a child, and Chitoge and Onodera were friends that he played with. So it could be, Marika never met those 2, but she did meet Yui, who played outside with Raku, and visited the hospital with Raku. Meaning Yui is the only one that she ever met.

There could be a difference between knowing and meeting them? I have friends who talk plenty about people I've never met. I mean, I'm sure Raku talked about his other friends when he visited Marika.

Marika's key on the other hand looks like the Pendant's shape;
However the key bit being in there only means that she tried to unlock it at one time and it broke as a result - from what we can guess from the story and 4 keys existing all with different bits probably because none of the keys is supposed to unlock it by itself.

I wouldn't call it lying - she is just enhancing the truth.

That being said she wasn't really caught lying for the time being only keeping things back deliberately to raise a wrong impression.

Aye she keeps a lot of things secret - even something that would according to her friend be an instant win for her.

The question is just whether she was scared of Yui cause she can no longer play the keeping stuff back game or because she thinks that Yui is actually that scary.
Which would mean a lot if its coming from Marika.
Entirely possible considering how Yui was treating Shuu.
