One of the most enjoyable, excellently true-to-lore mods that I'm trying out is an expansion to Winterhold, that is, depicting the town as once a great city that fell victim to a disaster. I'm halfway inside the entombed quarter, but asides from the pitch-black darkness (damn hard to see even with my monitor at vivid mode, but this is good for a DarkBro/Thieves operative so it's best to turn off the lights in the room to maximize the experience) I'm told the fighting could be hairy even for a level 65 toon.

Well there's immersion, for which I found a gold mine of things ranging from crime alert radius to Frostfall. But there's aesthetics too, and if you're looking at the same character bouncing around all day, might as well do it just right

As the author of that mod implies, correct feminine movements.
Just as when I requested to Esbern for a dragon-killing assignment, suddenly an Elder Dragon dropped right on top, started attacking but we fragged him, anyway.

Been playing around with visual mods and found the perfect one. It's called True Vision ENB (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15983). Cannot play Skyrim without this visual mod; however, it makes a huge dent on your PC if you use the highest settings. If you notice on my SS, I had to tune down the shadow quality quite a bit to make the game playable. I highly recommend this ENB if you have a pretty good PC. Here are some screens:
Serana Just playin around with cosmetics On a more serious note, my actual main character What my character looks like under that dark thingy

There are a few school uniform mods out there, but I'd be happier if there was a Yoko Nakajima (12 Kingdoms) armorset or even a reskin (I like black or dark-hued school uniforms)... However, since no one seems to have done such a thing, I think I'll have to do a bit of studying (more like revisiting, as I once did such a thing on an old MMO) on the use of DDS textures.

Intresting stuff, but it seems like every game must have zombies involved .

Found this old-school, servicey sailor uniform armor mod, and I thought it was awesome:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18584 However, asides from his odd English and sparse documentation, the author seems to like using some odd ingredients and crafting materials when making and upgrading armor, as he used an upgrade item that was actually part of a food mod (bad practice): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16763 Weirdly, seems that the uniform dissolves to nothing but undies everytime my toon swims.

"toon" is a term that seems to have started in MMOs. I don't use it for the same reason (my characters are not "cartoons"), but I guess it is easier to spell than "avatar" or "character"

I just simply use main character, NPC, or player lolz or just char for short.
For you Star Wars fans: Combined the SW (Galen Marek aka Star Killer Outfit or Magicka Sabers Expanded mod on steam workshop) mods with The Dance Of Death - A Killmoves Mod to increase decapitation chance really does give the "jedi" feeling haha. Too bad you can't cut off limbs but I'm sure there's another mod out there with that
