I believe that the five rings merged into one and the elder elf's story about the first ring king's corruption due to lust are hints that this series will have an otp ending. On top of that, hime's younger sister suggested that he spent time alone with each princess. Guess what happened? He didn't touch Amber and the water princess. The elf princess got to kiss him. This is screaming OTP at the top of its lung.

so it ended up with holy princess (as expected) otp ending. since she is the only one with character development. even though I liked the water princess more. character wise, she's the best but seriously, it screamed otp since chapter 1. the whole marrying princess really throw me out of loop when that one was introduced but as the story goes, they are mostly ignored an left undeveloped. this development is expected. it would be unexpted if they throw a harem end.

I just read chapters 38&39 and I have to say Elf Princess is sneaky, she may come off as innocent and naive but both Krystal and Satou need to realize that she's much older than she looks.


I like how in this chapter both Satou and Dragon Princess bluntly tells each other how they don't find the other attractive.

Satou: "You're built like a child."

Saphir: "Whatever, you ain't shit anyway."

Satou: "Hmm... is that right?"

(Yes I'm aware that isn't the exact dialogue)


Dragon Princess seems to thinks it's only because of her lack of breast, but if you ask me it's because

- Her personality isn't that great.
- She's not really that helpful. (excluding that 1 time)
- She's constantly complaining.
- She's built like a stick figure or board with legs.

well if all or most of my theory about the ring curse is right and all that mess i really due to the "ring king duty" and his harem, then indeed we gonna get a OTP ending which the ring being destroyed and everyone being released from that "loop" of ring king, ofcourse the girls still have the option to stay with mc if they really love's him.

if not them i still can see a harem ending with the main girl being his number 1 lover and the others being like the "concubines" or soemthing like that, if him love's them and all of them love's him too.

So far as i told sometimes the only girls which really display any real interest in the mc are the main girl and a little the elf girl, the others are there more for the duty or "mate" tham actually being in love with him or even really interested in him and they could easy leave him if they get a good reason like the ending of the evil and finding a even strong partner.

You're right, and in other circumstances I'd probably be rooting for a harem end.

But the guy has not only stated that he only loves her, both the usual harem "excuses" were brought up (girl saying "you don't belong just to me" and guy saying "I love you the most") and he solidly rejected both of them.

At this point I'd honestly feel disappointed if it went harem, since the focus has been so strongly on the main couple.

So either route will be unsatisfying.
Harem because author actively sabotages any development between MC and the girls.
OTP because it comes at the cost of other characters rather than making it compelling on its own.

So the author brought himself to a corner.
Despite it had potential it didn't meet the expectations.

i don't feel like "unsatisfying" if they don't go harem, because it was aways part of the serie as peoples say, the mc aways tried to his best to avoid the harem and the others characters most of the times respected it,

For me what could be really unsatisfying could be the "third option" the famous "open end" where he neither go harem or non harem to avoid the "fans anger", which a lot of mangaka loves to do in they "harems", many mangakas to avoid many troubles like to go to the "open end" where the mc never ending choosing anything and the history feel "incomplete" because the author was "coward enough" to neither choose a single girl or go harem.

Eh. Don't really see OTP causing any problems. The only other girl who was romantically developed at all was the elf, and that was more in conjunction with her getting out into the world than actually falling for the guy.
