It's very interesting - it appears that the manga volume 1 is what we know as the
anime series and everything else happens after. More reports after I read it in its entirety. And: Spoiler:

Wow this is a good series; I wonder why it's not as popular as it should be. Maybe like me, people were turned off by the half-episodes as well. Anyways, it's one of the best paced romance anime ever while having a pretty interesting plot. It's not too short and choppy, but the drama doesn't drag on for 26 episodes like others. I, at least, was glad at how it ended. It kept the formality of the ending by not going overboard.

I just read up through Chapter 49. Where can I find when 49 was release and when/if 50 will be. In some ways its hard for me to think that this series started 10 years ago.
I like the anime, liked the manga much better.

For anyone who has read the raw versions or summaries of them, does Matsumaru ever find out? I find it weird that the authors chose to continue the story as if nothing happened, offering no resolution to something so critical to the story and the reader's relation to the characters. It's a serious character flaw in Aka that it doesn't seem like she's evolved from. I've read all the available volumes and I still think anyone with a sob story who could get her to feel bad for him could get her to spread her legs. Does it just continue with the lightheartedness until they get married?
