Hey, I'm startin to make some gifs (cant wait for the next episode!) But, they are all way too big. How do you reduce the number of colors? btw, im using image ready. Also, my first attempts were from starsky and hutch (new one) and with only 1 second with those colors, it was 100kB. Will iyt make a difference with naruto cuz there is less detail and color change, or does the number of colors determine it? THX A LOT!

There should be a small box in ImageReady that tells you all the Optimization info, you can reduce, increase the colors from there. Number of frames and the dimensions of the GIF can also determine how big the file is (I think). So you might want to keep that in mind when making GIFs. |

Choose your Poison Here ya go. Im trying to get better at these. It still takes me awhile. They are addictive to make when you in the middle of the learning curve. Last edited by YamahaYZFr6; 2004-08-04 at 01:47. |
