It doesn't even have a release window for arcades, what makes you think it'd even come soon enough to consoles for "skipping" a game to even sound logical?

I didn't say anything about it coming out soon. Last BB game I bought was Continuum Shift back in 2010. I've waited this long; a couple more years won't kill me lol.

on a casual gaming standpoint, it sounds logical

That's Naoto. His hair turns white and eyes turn red when he uses his power.

Supposedly from what we've been told I should think this will be the last installment plot-wise. Expansions will likely be released afterward but I figure that will be it.

Hibiki being made playable makes sense. I've never even heard of this Naoto guy before though. Nine sure looks evil in that split second screencap so I guess she's still the Phantom serving Izanami for whatever reason.

This brings the roster up to 31 characters. Wow that's a lot. Still not quite at Ultra Street Fighter IV amount though.

I'm guessing one of the console release characters will be Izanami.~

Naoto is the main character from the BloodEdge Experience novel. He sorta has situations that are parallel to ragna but still is different from him. His power makes him look like ragna and he uses his own blood as a weapon which is why it has the name Bloodegde. You can read about on the blazblue Wiki or look at the summaries Zeph posted on his story on the dustloop forums.

It's suppose to be the end of Ragna's story, so they can continue BB just not with Ragna as a focus, we'll see... and yes Central Fiction Extend is a lock to be released and I expect Blaz Blue 5 to be announced for arcades the month after it comes out in America.

I just bought BBCSExtended. Is there any hint on the main story on BB Central Fiction since we only get Mai's side story on extended edition.

That picture is so damn accurate, unforunately xD Blazblue is one of, if not my absolue, favorite fighting game series' by far, but I have just kind of given up on getting really good at any of the games until the final game (Maybe the next one?) comes out because of all the revisions and balancing issues. I just play the great storyline of the games then play the actual fighting purely for fun.

Personally my ranking would go:
Proof of the Warrior (CP character select) > CF character select > Blue Beating (CT/CS character select)
They're all pretty nice sounding, though.

Edit: Oh play guide for the loketest is out and... woah, they've removed a lot of moves. Ofcourse there's also new moves. But Rachel lost pumpkin, WTF?
