Yami can cook just fine. Like she said, she knows how to read and thus can do what the recipie says to do. In Nagi's case, she thought she could make something unique and original and thus it turned out crappy.

Nana Mizuki has voiced bad singers before, though. Misaki from Darker than Black specifically is tone deaf.

Raiko's comment about being the top selling voice actor is a direct reference to Nana Mizuki getting that title last year.
