I agree with you. Somehow lacks that kickass menacing look. But it's an impressive attempt nonetheless. How about pics from the other side of the pond? Any Japanese Hollow-Ichigo cosplayers around?

This character is from Magna Carta (I think it's a game or something) I don't know his name though.



And I have a horrible bias towards Japanese cosplayers. I just don't think anyone can cosplay as well as they can. It's like they took the characters and brought them to life. Then again some anime characters (like Vash for example) are better left to westerners. So I guess it depends but...you know.

Thanks for this screenshot, that helps me a lot. Actually a lot of the Cosplay i posted w/o actually seeing what the original drawings of these characters look like. I'll go ahead and say that this magna carta one wasn't so bad, but the hair looked fake, face didn't match at all. and the costume looked plastic. it was O.K. i guess.

As far as japanese being the better cosplay, i think a lot of them have more imagination for it than westerners. that girl that cosplays Yuna above is american, she looks better than any Japanese chick i've seen play her.
I think it just depends on the person really. last night while i was searching for these pics, i was wondering which i could cosplay the best. No one can just cosplay anything, you really have to already have the looks for it. If you don't, you're better off Cosplaying Bender, or Tonberry or Cactuar.

Yeah they pay people to cosplay I guess they have a Momo one also on that site . I last checked in Dec 05 , dont know which all other chracters they have dispalyed . I am searching Momo ones , found some more Rukia though

Unfortunately, she is not 100% perfect. Skin tone too dark, face isn't Yuna's.

I thought that this was quite good, and looks a lot like him, except that in the show his coat is red, not black, as far as I know. Maybe this is a dark version of Vash the Stampede, but I don't know for certain.
