From that scene alone, pixiv has determined that Nao doesn't wear a bra, and given more fuel to the Nissan Combo (Nao x Akane). Precure fanon is far stretching and highly delusional. Which is why I enjoy watching it slowly build.

For anyone waiting for it, the full version of the OP and ED themes have been already released.
Full version of Let's go! Smile Precure is nice to listen to, and the ED theme isn't bad at all.

Aaand now Smile Precure is my second favorite precure series after Heartcatch (I've watched all of precure series). No real hand-to-hand fighting so far (cure candy fighting with her hair doesn't count ), but the characters were fun and interesting.
Next ep.: Cure Pikachu transferred. |

This show is seriously the most amazing series running this season. How can a children's show be this amazing. I'm speechless, lol.
Suite and Heartcatch had to struggle to make me care about the plot sometimes but Smile so far has been impressively tight and solid. Probably the early individual introductions to the characters has contributes to this, but I think this format will offer advantages over the incremental structure of both Suite and Heartcatch, where the plot always seemed to be hijacked by excessive focus on the new Precure whenever an addition to the main cast popped up. With Smile's present cast, although I do have favourites, I'm already rather fond of pretty much all of them (even the villains are charming) so as long as this series keeps up its balanced exposure I will probably be satisfied. In any case, episode 8 was brilliant. Probably the best episode so far. I am also highly looking forward to next week's "Yayoi lying" episode, as she's showing a fair bit more personality and interesting character than the generic moe shyness which initially caught our attention (lol, both mine, at least, and Japan's). |

This probably deserves a spoiler tag, but it's already been mentioned without one, so:
That episode was awesome. The comedy hit all the right notes, and watching Cure Candy was just gold. That transformation sequence was just The more I watch it, the more and more this show looks like a parody show, but that's not a bad thing, especially when it's as funny as this.

It's been a few days since the episode aired, so I guess it's ok not to spoiler tag this anymore.
What can I say? I didn't expect to have many random moments of laughter on a precure episode - mostly at the classroom scenes. It's fortunate that the switch was only for a day or Miyuki's reputation would have been totally ruined. But wait, there's a little drama too.. Nice character development for Miyuki and Candy on this one.
