That would be nice.

I've been looking around and I can only find the Haruhi series fanbook, not the Haruhi artbook itself.

Summer fever, April Showers, May Melancholies etc. Until Week 8 or whenever more information is released, you're going to be seeing a lot of this.

On the topic of killing someone: Definitaly what Kaisos said, putting them into a state of paranoia and having them kill themselves (or, you could go further put them on drugs and make them think that they're being torture or something similar when they're not)

That's cheating.

The challenge is supposed to be doing it through your words and actions alone, without resorting to chemical or violent methods.

The real trick to it is mind gaming them without them realizing you're mind gaming them. Like Iago.

A nice backup plan is to be playing a fairly common song (and I mean common, NOT popular) on repeat while you're doing it. That way, if something happens and they get away from you, it'll haunt them every time they hear the song. Supposedly. I'm not sure if that was ever tested or not

Maybe Happy Birthday? That will make their birthdays every year really crappy.

That can be either awesome or stupid depending on which song you pick.

Oh, you can't use a third party? That sucks.

I guess you could also make him crack by having him do something to himself (ex. having him cut out his own eye or I'll capture someone he loves and force him to kill them). EDIT: Yes they'll still know I'm doing it (unless I communicate through notes), but if I was a killer I'd get a kick out of it.

Guess I'm not as psychotic as I thought.

I'd sing X-Mas songs, thus making holidays hell.

Well, it says 4.5 million volumes of the novels sold, and they're about 500 yen each, so that makes about two and a quarter billion yen just from the books alone (yes, I know that the stores get their slice of the money too and not just Kadokawa). Add in 800,000 DVDs, plus the manga, plus the figurines and other merchandise, and 10 billion yen (about US$100 million) is not out of reach.

Yen that changes hands is "into the economy". Be it the store or the company selling the product.

I wonder how many people here actually buys the books and cds.

Not many people will scan those books though, I know I wouldn't do that to mine.

Most of the images in the books are all over the internet already, its mostly a compilation.

Not many in the US, considering you can't physically buy them.

They probably get all the sales in Japan.

Just the first one is out in the US. Late this year we'll get the second one, rumor has it.
