I'll check it out at some point. However, just a reminder that we'd appreciate it if people didn't upload large portions of the game to YouTube or similar sites. I think your videos only cover the first chapter, so… that's probably okay.

Oh gosh I liked The Princess's Lie so much I drew crappy fanart for it.
Spoiler for Midori:
This story is good stuff. My favourite. (Not sure why people seem to rank Hikaru's story as their favourite. It doesn't seem that interesting.)

I thought the ending to Hameln's Castanets was glorious, though. It's dictionary poetic justice. The Princess's Lie was my second favorite story (or maybe Utopia was, I'm not sure). |

Midori is on the lead, how surprising. Almost all Higanbana fanart I can find is of her. Well, not like I'm complaining.
What surprises me is that Kanamori has more votes than Marie, and that Marie isn't in the top three. And, what the heck is the Headmaster doing on third place? Eh, the japanese must really like him...

Unfortunately, translation has admittedly stalled a bit. This is mostly down to our translators being very busy with their own lives. I want this translation as much as everyone else, but there really is a limit to how much I can nag at them about it…
On the other hand, I've been working on some interesting things for the project, some of which we should hopefully be able to put out soon. You can view our translation project on our blog (which can now be accessed via our snazzy new domain name SpiderLilyTranslations.com), but we haven't actually made any translation progress in a while, and I have no idea when I'm next going to be able to update the progress section. Anyway, thanks for everyone's support. I do hope the pace of translation will pick up soon.

It is certainly depressing, but I rather enjoyed it really. I had to balance my playing of it by playing more light-hearted visual novels at the same time, but I did enjoy it.
Plus, the story does have some lighter moments. They're rather small in comparison to the darker moments, but they do help a bit. I've said this before but Higanbana is not for everyone. Some people will enjoy it, some people will feel really depressed. I just hope it's an interesting experience for the people who do play it.
