Wouldn't it make sense for Giftia's to have some authentication device to limit access to legitimate Terminal Services personnel? It seems ludicrous that random people could walk up, claim to be a TS employee, and walk off with or disable a Giftia. It also seems ludicrous that TS One could have overheads five times higher than the other agencies. Is the problem that TS1 isn't aggressive enough in turning around retrievals? They certainly took their time with Marcia, but five times longer on average seems a bit much. Unless the standard is show up, retrieve Giftia, and leave regardless of the emotional toll involved.

For some reason the standard you mentioned has been my assumption for the other offices. No hard data on that yet, of course, but we do know that Section One is known for both more expenses and the more...delicate or personal touch in...erm...customer satisfaction during retrievals if at all possible, treating both Giftia and their owners as if they have souls.
That being said, I also was wondering where the expenses were coming from. Maybe it will become clearer in later eps? Although in ep one when Isla went flying through the air, fell several stories and destroyed the roof over the garbage area of the apartment complex...that could prolly be an expense easy to guess from what we have seen thus far. ^^

Tsukasa is starting to get a bit annoying. His reactions to the simplest things are that of a child, and he is terribly lacking in almost any practical skills. I'm wondering if he really isn't some kind of new Giftia with the mind of a child stuck in an adult body, because otherwise his character is just really poorly written.

That cliffhangerish ending had that sort of feeling D:
Anyways, whoaaaaaaaa. I was not expecting the show to turn into this type of tragic direction. I mean yeah, I knew it wasn't going to be pleasant with the fake retrievers involved. But still, the fake retrievers caused way more problems than I had expected. Also felt bad for Marcia and her past as well ;_;

Wow intense episode
How the hell did Souta manage to get through all the r security that had the area sealed off? Smh Tsukasa is an annoying main character Not sure what the board is supposed to mean at the end but another cliff hanger episode it seems |

Ep 05
Quote:
I thought the ep was overall a good one and quite engaging, but there were a few things about I had a difficult time with accepting - Kazuki's "blackmailing" the leader of R Security squad and Souta somehow turning up even though R Security had sealed the place off. Other than that was pretty good, but I still feel that the series could have been a much better.

Ahh its sold itself on me tonight. I was on the fence as I felt the comedy was detracting from it, but tonight it showed that when its on, it'll be on.
Tsukasa doesn't bug me too much; the shows about Isla really and there is enough to him for it to work. He seems a bit like a deer in the headlamps but I guess he will be. One thing about the cliffhanger... Spoiler:
One thing on any possible romantic element between Tsukasa and Isla. Just how old is she supposed to be? She's one of those characters who could be anywhere between 12 and 16. If she's towards 16 I can deal with there being romance. If she's towards the 12 mark then that's a deal breaker for me. I can assume Isla is "organic" and effectively human, so can get past that, but the age thing could make it weird. It needs to clarify that if an actual romance does kick in.
