It's fine to marathon, but next time just edit your existing post rather than double/triple-posting. Except in rare circumstances, we don't allow someone to bump a thread with their own post if they were the last poster. (Well, we don't allow thread bumping at all in any case, but yeah...)

The anime started out interesting while being quite good, and it ended being interesting and quite good. I get the feeling the anime is compressed, but it was still satisfying, especially the ending.
Kouda should had been a heroine along with Naru. She's too deliciously good to miss out on. Also, one SUPER SISCON, and one MASTER of IMOUTO MOE/SISCON? I'm envious. |

*kicks Asuka into the curb*
Sorry Asuka, but THE osananajimi has surfaced. No need for you anymore... why don't you busy yourself with Hinagiku, who met the same fate lol. XD *starts waving the Kobato shipper flag*

final impressions
lol.. it ended as it started (with a few changes), as expected. Great stuff, nonetheless.
well, it was a fun ride. beautiful chara designs, top-class fanservice (man, the last time I saw fanservice of this caliber with similarly beautiful chara-designs, was last year's Shukufuku no Campanella), a few funny "dirty" jokes threw in here'n'there, plus: the girls all had their unique, nicely done personality traits. Amazing OP, nice ED. the story was good, too. nothing outstanding or world-shaking, but good enough. overall: 8,5/10 I'm now looking forward to the ecchilicious OVA, and to the unc. BDs of course. Spoiler for ep12 - gifs:

WHY? WHY? WHY? I know it was fucking as hell obvious and predictable by the eighth episode but I am still very disappoint. ZZZ. Why did they have to go that ending? And the biggest emotional punch of the show got like five minutes screen time >.> Sigh. I really enjoyed the format this anime adopted to tell a complex story and the attention to detail that it received. Given the time constraints, they did a great job but meh... I so wish they had not gone this as;dlfkjasd;flksdfj ending. The worst part is that they kinda hinted YoujixAsuka (with Youji being in and unrequited love with her...). The fuck guys, the fuck? I would have much preferred Morisato ending. And for a while, I did have my hopes up too. T_T Oh well. 8/10 from me. It was really good early on but they chickened out / rushed too much at the end. |

Oretsuba 12 - In All The World, My Nest Is Best
Fitting that Youji's grown up self should be voiced by a VA named Tsubasa. In the end, it both was and wasn't an ef-ish story, but I quite enjoyed it. It wasn't as cartoony as Softenni, but it still had a weird, almost non-sequiter sense of humor to it. I like the overall idea of the story, too. That even though Youji created so many extra personalities for himself thanks to some major backstory issues, he also made a lot of friends out of it, and got the harem ending. Which is, nine times out of thirteen, the best ending. The Campanella staff did a great job. As I detailed previously, I'm drawn to wing motifs for some reason I can't explain. If I had to name a downside, I'd say the show crammed a lot of characters into a small space, but that's one of the areas where a VN has a strength over an anime, but as the show moved along, it became somewhat easier to keep track of who everyone was. Liked the Seikai Seifuku Shoujo poster on the train. A little bit obvious, but I'm cool with it. Despite the time between airing and simulcast being somewhat long, it was worth it. And DJ Condor is one of the best voice-only characters in recent memory. May peace prevail in the world. |

Youji's personality seems to be closest to Shuusuke's, which is cool, being my favorite personality, but I kind of wished to see the gruff Hayato-side of Youji at some points. He doesn't seem to have it anymore.
In the end, I think Asuka got screwed because I can't think of any way that she can evoke the Takashi side like the other girls did with their favorites (punching maybe?). Asuka never really got lovey dovey with Takashi like Naru did with Hayato and Hiyoko with Shuusuke. That's just sad because Asuka is arguably the one who did the most for Youji. |

There is an OVA with full load of fan service. Be it for boys and girls >.> <.<
Hot spring event *_* EDIT: I'm not prepared for an uncensored version.... need blood donation. The OVA is too much. lolz Tamahiyo reading boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai vol 01 though I'm not sure on the moonrunes but it looks the same when I check the cover page for vol 01 of it. The ending part was also nice Harem end at it's best

Though it's full of fanservice crap at the beginning at the near end is quite sweet. Their is no real story for it. Just... fanservice
