if X2, does it check for a completed game or generally just a save file? Because some games require you to have their sequel completed for exclusive rewards. If only a save file then I can just create one but not play.

MEH. Exclusive reward or not, I never cared for these Plushies. I don't know anyone who've ever used them.

Well the attachments don't hurt anything so I don't mind either way. Might go ahead and stick the Sophie plushie on a character again for some laughs.

Depends, sometimes it is referring to [completed save data], I recall X2 having bonuses for Vesperia/Graces/Xillia completed save files, but the article just said save data.

Jade Curtiss Will Appear As A Guest Character In Tales of Zestiria

Quote:
The magazine shows some screenshots with Jade in battle, but Game Jouhou says it feels that it looks a little different from the usual arena, so it looks like there could be something special prepared for Jade.

Here's a play-through about 10 hours into the game. Couple of story spoilers in it if you want to steer clear of those, but if you want to see an LQ version of the game OP, forward to 2:03 here.

ADD: Also, here's a video that might be a bit of a spoiler, but it's a pretty interesting look at something I didn't quite expect from the game.

Spoiler for A meeting...of sorts.:

One issue I'm noticing with the new party system is that Tenzoku are apparently linked to human characters, so when that person had Alisha leave, Sorey could only summon one.

It's nice that you can switch to any Tenzoku regardless of your initial party setup now, but I don't see why Sorey couldn't just summon two more Tenzoku on the field to have four people. It seems like an unnecessary restriction to me.

Additionally, I still don't see what's the point of Alisha being linked to a Tenzoku when she can't fuse with one, or what she has to offer in place of fusion. I hope Bamco thought this through and gave her something unique. Otherwise she feels like an incomplete character, like Flynn in Vesperia 360 or pretty much every Xillia character not Ludger .

Still, despite the party formation restrictions the game still at least looks interesting enough to buy. The combat looks very similar to Graces F which I loved and there's none of that mid-combo breaking nonsense that was there with Xillia's bosses. Also, the game doesn't shoehorn fusion artes by making them significantly stronger than your normal artes like Xillia did with the link system, since it looks like Sorey was killing monsters fine on his own.

I still have my doubts, like if Tenzoku will be allowed to fight on their own, or if they're allowed to solo at all since they're linked to humans, but it's nothing that would turn me away from buying or finishing the game now at least.

Now Baba, where is that faster localization you promised?

That is the OP theme for Zestiria?! That's a terrible OP theme for a Tales game! I was wondering why the long trailer I saw didn't have the OP theme in it. Now I know why. I hope whoever was in charge of choosing the OP theme wasn't in charge of anything else......
But on the bright side, I don't have to worry about spending money on the single.

And although Alisha's placement in the character order in the OP (last as opposed to somewhere in the middle) still indicates she won't be some insignificant side character and is actually the heroine along with all the ads and promotion art showing her with Sley, at the same time it shows.....unimportance. People are already worried she'll be one of those party members nobody uses, I hope she at least stays important to the plot.

Actually I think that's part of the appeal for me.

It's like Dragon's Dogma's completely out of placed OP, and that's why it's so awesome.

Dragon's Dogma OP is awesome because it's the B'z, and the B'z are the best.

I think my problem with Alisha is that Rose is shown to fuse with other Tenzoku, so if Rose is a permanent character, that leaves Alisha to be seriously underpowered for a human.

As for the OP, for me I thought Abyss was jarring first time I've played it. I mean, Bump of Chicken is awesome, but after English OPs of Destiny/Destiny 2 (Eternia)/Legendia (skipped Symphonia since I didn't have GC), fast paced rock music was the last thing I expected out of Tales RPG op (or even any RPG period). It really felt out of place, ESPECIALLY once I heard the male lyrics online. Nowadays its the only Tales OP whose artist I remember by heart since it really stood out. XD

So no, I personally don't find the Zestiria OP out of place. I actually quite like it with the OP scenes.
