Didn't like this arc much in the manga, didn't like it much in the anime either. Next week's episode is going to be awesome though.

this was one of the best chapters so far, I laughed so much in this, maybe because Zura was in the chapter, when he's there usualy is a really funny chapter but with the add of Saito it was awesome.

10/10 this one, and Saito was really funny and cool.

It was better for Toshiro to go through more with the wording instead of looking right through a person's identity though.

Zura is sure persistent even though going through all that.

They got a really famous one too... for a character that never talks

Saito is really great. Every Shinsengumi and/or Kenshin fan have been waiting years for his introduction, and it didn't disappoint.

Damn now that was a hilarious side bursting episode. Zura & Saito are just too good. That fucking smile is priceless. Shat myself like Zura did when it happened.

And of course Elizabeth & Saito would bond quickly as silent types! But to be a pet?

Edit: Episode was amazing. Loved Saito, and man, that scene when he smiled was hilarious.

Some of Gintama's VA's are dubbing LoL champions to Japanese . Come to think of it, the anime cast are pretty well suited for a game like this.

Heh, they did Saitou's smile better here than in the manga.

But man, they really skipped the photo booth chapter? Not sure this bodes well for the other arcs getting animated...

I also remember that they actually omitted an important part in episode 45 (y'know, when Sadaharu turned into a Inugami), namely the Tendoshuu observing Sadaharu and mentioning how all the "holes" were closed up.

Yeah, those were definitely the best episodes since the return of the anime. I wish Saito had been introduced sooner into the series, he's such a funny character.

well, Saito Shimaru is based on Saito Hajime, and Saito Hajime is left handed swordsman

I know, I was joking. Shimaru's speech problem was pretty much a parody of real-life Saito's reserved nature. Sorachi just chose not to mention the left-handedness, maybe since it always comes up in other mediums like Rurouni Kenshin and Hakuoki.

I wonder though if kenshin is more historically accurate than Hakuouki, cuz Saito survives in kenshin but is ( implied ) killed in Hakuouki.
