In that sense, likewise, I could argue that just because something is important to someone else doesn't mean it should be important to everybody else. Still, fellow thread readers have the pleasure to swallow that same negativity after almost every newly released chapter. |

Some of you sure like getting your panties in a bunch over nothing. this is a slice of life manga. There is practically nothing in it that resembles an overarching plot. that's typical for a slice of life. What drives a Slice of life is the characters, and character development. the better ones that I've read will show this development through many mini arc type of stories. an example from this manga would be those few chapters where Raku and Tsugumi were doing that mission on the boat. that was one of the better arcs in recent memory.
The main problem I feel that this series has, is that it has too few of those. in the beginning it was pretty good, but its turned into random "episodic" type of stories where each chapter introduces some random BS object/story/situation where everyone coments on it and then at the end of the chapter everything is back to the way it was. there's not much movement which makes it seem stale. at least it does to me. Either way some people will like it, and some won't. to say someone "doesn't get" an entire genre of manga because they don't like this one is pretty silly. and I'm sure we can all agree that development of some type is important to every good story, whether that development involves the plot, or the characters, or the world around the characters, etc. |

The problem comes when some people thinks what they want MUST happen in the manga =___=.
As if it wasn't obvious that making the series longar as it can be is the main point of a long running series =____=; The story is pretty average but the art style makes up for it, a better slice of life was School Rumble I recall losing it every week . Here isn't happening though. Btw Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun had some jokes that threw me to the past with their SC jokes and it just got an anime! |

@pablete I agree School rumble is a much more clear slice of life from the beginning then nisekoi. With school rumble its very clear that the story is about a bad boy trying to change his ways and win the heart of the girl he loves. The development in that story is far better. Every single one of the main group with maybe 2 exceptions (Mikoto and Akira) grow in character. The problem isn't what must happen or should happen its that you have 3 plots that are connected but none of them have received any major boosts in a while 1. The fake relationship hasn't really changed since romeo and Juliet. 2. Raku's current feelings are relatively unknown and the argument of who he would choose of his options is unknown and speculative at best. 3. The key girl hasn't been clear either all we know is there are 4 options and speculating who that would be is nearly impossible |

the idea behind nisekoi is to made you laugh or at least smile. is not a realistic slice of life, is a rom-com (more comedy than romance), if you want a good romance you are in the wrong place or you should wait for some serious parts, maybe you have a chance with theirs parents past or the story outcome, but that is ok. ------- a haru chapter, well let's enjoy the ride

Cosplay chapter...
...and I spotted a certain Double Arts heroine cosplay. Go Girl A! Haru is such an M, I hope she gets a Fuu-chan happy ending. Komi played all the tropes extremely straight thus far -- if also having a little fun with them -- I wonder if he has the guts to put a genuine yuri couple in a Shounen Jump manga? |

I agree, I would love her to be on offensive mode & see how badly she's constrained by her outfit. All in all, it's not practical for combat. I'm hoping some point in the future chapters that Claude spot her wearing feminine clothes but unable to recognise her.

All the girls looked so cute in their oufits, particularly Kosaki.
Haru is a very good imouto, but it sucks she has to hurt herself to make her sister happy. She should take a page out of Momo's book and go for a harem end.

In my opinion, Tsugumi looked the best since the costume fit her the most, followed by Chitoge, Marika, Haru and Fuu in second place, Ruri and Shuu definitely had the funniest costumes, Onodera's costume didn't fit her in my opinion (I still don't get the Onodera obsession) would have been better off with a traditional maid costume (gothic lolita doesn't fit her).

I mean she is cute but not to the level that the manga makes her out to be, this chapter alone makes that clear at least in my opinion.
