Ah...in that case it is quite literally the exact opposite of what you're looking for (most of the train stuff involves the MC sperging out about stats and model numbers) so yeah...would not recommend.

To be fair, that's only the case if it's not an actual harem. Look at Highschool DxD. Sure, there's a shit ton of ecchi stuff, and the girls do bicker and throw themselves at Issei, but he's also aiming to become a harem king, so the girls are really just bickering over first rites and pecking order, but they do develop rather nicely. And he has a legit reason for not going hog wild (though the anime hasn't gotten to the point where it's outright stated why this is the case).

As for Rail Wars... yeah, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not awful, but I wouldn't even call it average. Okay, it's awful.

Am I the only one who cared absolutely 0 for Aerith? She was boring as boring can bore. Her death is overrated and stupid. Saw it coming a mile away and shed nothing. Only glad and hoped Cloud would stop ignoring Tifa.

You're not the only one, I never cared for Aerith, Tifa was more interesting and better integrated into the plot than that squishy magician.

Cid; Airplane

Barrett; I got nothing....

Aerith; Tried summoning Holy, got killed for it. The earlier team needed to save her when she got caught, plot moves on... etc.

Are you sure it was stupid? As long as she was alone nothing happened to her, as soon as they reached her Sephiroth (or rather a Jenova body part controlled by Sephiroth) showed up and killed her.

Hint: Sephiroth controlled the Jenova cells inside Cloud, he could see and hear whatever Cloud did and also control his body.

Traveling alone is always dangerous because all you got is yourself.
For storyline plot and what else for her to be alone and make it to Ancient City is why she wasn't really harmed on the way O.o

Anyways Sephiroth is a noob if he thought Jenova was his real mother. lols
