So how far does the novels actually expand on the story? I don't mind a little bit of spoilers but can someone PM me or write a spoiler here saying if the relationship between kaname and souske got any better and how it is now?

well i thought most of the novel was talking about them being separated like different areas in the world

The next novel should be the last one. TSR (EODBD) was more or less the middle of the story (fourth novel, 10 novel in total).

Spoiler for KanameXSousuke:

After TSR :

• DVMC : Tessa confess and is rejected.
• COMO : Sousuke and Kaname confess their love but say that they are afraid of each other. In the end of the novel Kaname leave with Leonard to save Sousuke life. The ARX-7 is destroyed.
  Sousuke is afraid of the Whispered power of Kaname.
  Kaname is afraid of the soldier part of Sousuke (he has killed in cold blood, not caring about collateral damage, not showing emotion when people he know have been killed).
• BOMF : Sousuke start searching Kaname. In this novel Sousuke lose a possible love interest, a kidney, a part of his liver and some intestine. Kaname is living an happy life in Mexico.
• MMD : After 6 weeks of coma Sousuke regain consciousness, he finally found where Kaname is and go fetch her. On his way to Kaname villa Sousuke encounter a wild ARX-8 and capture it. After that he confess his love to Kaname over the radio on an open channel, and Kaname do the same thing. They are still separated.
• At the end of NOT they are still separated, it's impossible to speak about Kaname and Sousuke without giving way to much spoiler.

From COMO to the last novel 9 month has passed.

Wow, thanks for the great summary of the relationship between Kaname & Sousuke. That's exactly what I'm interested in.
Seriously, I want a sorta "Happy Ending" with the two of them.

ANOT Shoot Sousuke posessed by Sophia, we know this already.
(new book?) Chidori looses her self and mixed memories thinking he's dead and no longer wants to live. She's connected to the giant TAROS. (imagins a Rinoa FF8 moment here being sacraficed) Leonard thinks he can change the future by going to the past, only to REALISE that -ALREADY- happen back in 1984. Thus looses his mind. Going in a mad war against Sophia...Leonard attacks her. But Sophia somehow kills him under Chidori's body. Tessa then tells Sousuke that the ONLY one that can bring back Chidori to her sences and send Sophia back where she came from without projecting information to whispers is him (or maybe tessa is the only one that can with his help?). Somehow I feel AL has something involved in this. Sophia is defeated and is cut off with the pressent world. Whispers are no longer connected to her and thus NORMALIZED. No more advanced technology. Chidori is now a normal girl..and very exhausted and ill. And Sousuke carries her away home where she belongs ...-sighs romantically-...

In the most recent novel, Approaching Nick of Time, [sousuke] travels into Soviet territory with Tessa in order to uncover more information about how the Whispereds originated. Leonard also heads to the Soviet facility Sousuke and Tessa are traveling to, with Chidori in tow. At the facility, named Yamsk 11, Chidori's mind is taken over by a personality named Sophia, who appears to be a "Whisperer" who imparts the Black Technology knowledge to the Whispereds. Under Sophia's control Chidori, Sousuke, and Tessa are shown an illusion of Chidori shooting and killing the other two. Leonard and Sophia leave Yamsk 11 to go to Merida Island, where Amalgam has built a device to utilize a final ability of the Whispereds.

Okay. I'm terribly sorry for getting a bit "hostile"(LOL) back then. I guess you were right! We should buy the books! But fansubs are equally important to us. I was wondering if anyone was doing Come Make My Day. Are you Shutazen? I can't wait for the next fansub to come out. I just bought Fighting Boy meets Girl today in english, so everyone who yelled at me for trying to download it, I put it my ten dollars for it. I helped out. I will also be buying the second and third novels after I'm done reading the first. I want these translations to be done faster, I don't want to wait.

I just read from a chinese website. The author had just released a teaser on the 11th volume. It mainly talked about what happened in the old high school. Also, the tension between the USSR and USA seemed to be high, so ww3 is posible. The new novel is going to be released this spring.

Translated novels are much better, even though they're long, than summaries.

Nope, it isn't enough, but if I could do it in a ... few... days, just slowly make your way through it, or alternatively type it into the search function (I don't think it works, cause i haven't ever found anything using it, but it's worth a try).

Or wait for some1 who actually knows where all this stuff is, but somehow I doubt any1 knows anymore. Sry...
