So many different Kuranosuke attires. Each with their own beauty. <3

The almost kiss scene was really good. So obvious that something was going to interrupt them (speaking of that, how did Mayaya not notice the male Kuranosuke? ), though it's happened, and now there should be no stopping Kuranosuke's growing attraction towards Tsukimi. I was shocked that she didn't know what happened because of her eyes being closed, though then i'm kinda glad. She'd probably stay as a statue until the end of time. As for the park scene, adorable. Absolutely adorable.

Poor Shuu. Now that the Vixen has told him they made love (which is a lie), i fear he'll fall right into her trap. I'm hoping not though, because he's shown on more then one occasion that he's not your typical character. I have a feeling he'll have something planned, or at least ask Kuranosuke for help on the situation.

The plan to gather money together to buy the apartment is a good one. Shall be interesting to see how it'll play out as we head into the last section of the show.

& a honorable mention to young Kuranosuke and trendy Kuranosuke when he went to school. <3

Watched episode 7.
Meh, this series really is going downhill lately. It's still entertaining, but it's so "normal" now. The kind of humor that made it so special has been taking a backseat since episode 5, and it pretty much disappeared with episode 7. Same for story and character development, the episodes feel so slow and empty now. What a shame.
There is still time to go back to the awesomeness of the first four episodes and save the series, but at this point I wonder if they will be able to.

I find that I have little to write about it as well. But Upscaled explained the reason why. I don't know how they're going to end the series now.

Yes, this episode did feel a little "empty." The main progression was that Kuranosuke is trying to convince the girls to buy the building (since his Papa won't give him money to buy it... yet??). And of course some relationship tension between Tsukiki>Shu, Shu>Inari, and Kura>Tsukiki. Kura really seems to be stealing the spotlight.

The production values took a nose dive. I found a lot of the noises and SFX way too loud and over the top.

I have to agree with neshru here. This episode was very lacking, it didn't feel like the usual Kuragehime. I kept waiting for something great to happen, and the episode ended before I knew it. The way the story is developing is not bad, but it's too "normal" and thus relatively uninteresting. A group of girls (and one trap) searches for money to save their appartement building. Whoopee doopee.

Moreover, the jokes in this episode were rather lame and forced. The Vixen's rant was especially bad.

Chime me in as one of those who also can't write about it too, but it's more of having to study for exams than the episode sucking (which it does not), though it's definitely not on the same level as its predecessors.

actually, I didn't really know her name when she was first introduced during the fifth episode. I think her name was mentioned only once then, but I too was wondering who Inari was, since people were mentioning her name in this thread. "Vixen" really fits her, though.

And whilst we're on that topic, Tsukimi's name has the kanji in reverse (月海).

oh yes, I think she mentioned this during the first episode, so I thought it was interesting that she made the connection again last episode. This made me believe that there was a much deeper meaning to it with reference to the work, but I haven't figured out that part, yet.

To some extent I can understand the muted reaction to this episode. In many ways this might have been the most "conventional" episode of Kuragehime so far. It was certainly the most plot-driven, with each of the major lines being advanced significantly (probably necessary in an 11-episode series). It does mark a change from the previous narrative style, where plot and character development were inseparable. They were decoupled this week, with the plot progressing in a more conventional way and kind of forcing the characters to adapt to the situation.

Not a hugely comedic week, but I did love Jiji's "Please bring an elderly boss with you next time..."

Jiji's "come with older men" was hilarious, but the surprise of the episode was Banba stepping forward to stop Kuranosuke from selling off Chieko's doll collection. I think it's the first time she's done anything decent and thoughtful for others.

The park scene was very nice, but damn you Mayaya for bursting in to Tsukimi's room at the wrong moment!!!

After seeing the drama with selling the jellyfish dolls, i actually thought that was going to become the big plan to make money, though making jellyfish dresses is much better. Especially seeing as though dresses can go for an insane amount of money. It's a good plan, plus i just know we'll end up seeing Tsukimi wearing the finished product.

Humor was great this week, especially Hanamori who's easily bought out when it comes to Benz cars . Also it looks like Shu will be saved from the blackmailing thanks to that. I hope so anyway.

I can't be the only one who thought the sisters found out about Kuranosuke's gender . Silly Mayaya.

And yes the humour was great, especially the Hanamori scenes and the unsubtle PI (I can't believe Shu didn't noticed him till Hanamori's phone call)

Three episodes left, I really don't want this series to end. In fact I don't even see a conclusion in sight.
