Yeah, I would have just translated Dora as Drac if I were translating it. Dora just doesn't work very well in English. The fact that apparently some people didn't know Dora was short for Dracula certainly strengthens that point

Ok now that I have watched it in english we have a 'super' harem going on.
Here's what I THINK is the summation of the end. He did it for Kobato who is his COUSIN after all (Brother's kid) He killed his mom, who got better then killed herself. (Gah) Hiyoko wants him to help with a 4th book (The winner in the anime) Kobato doesn't like Youji that way but wants Asuka to marry him. Askua wants to hit him each time to make him act more like Takauchi (He acts more like Shuusuke) Naru Bike Girl is still trying to make her move (the well...loser) The witch girl wants to go on a trip with him. The blond girl likes to be 'dominated' by Dora's style. We add 2 MORE girls Akira and the other one (The stalker). Kakeru is a SISCON (Naru's brother) The flamebird leader is Youji's best friend? (Lol major Yaoi vibes haha) The guy in the school is a Flamebird member? Kakeru is keeping an eye on Youji I am still confused because each person's looked at certain people differently.

what do you expect of a 12 episode anime. The novel is soooo long that they force the true story of kobato in mere 10 minutes and do a harem ending. But I like the ending so no complains.
the guy in school isn't a flamebird. Are you talking about crow? the leader of the other group.

I'm not a huge follower of harem animes, but what's the frequency of a true harem ending like this one? They seem to be a rarity, and when they do occur, they are usually extremely shallow.
You know, as opposed to the: 1) no decision ending 2) I-can-see-who-he's-going-to-get-from-the-first-episode ending 3) get-a-little-closer-to-the-main-heroine-but-still-no-conclusion ending |

using a psychological condition to build a harem? I don't think it has been done before.
and at last i finally learned why the night people were calling him dora. It got confusing at the middle, but the end did a good job wrapping things up. |

I have to say it was actually a reasonable ending. I mean you kind of have to go with a harem situation since each guy got involved with a different girl. No idea how they are going to handle it long term even if he does try to get some medical help with resolving this.
Regardless they might want to stay away from the punching girl . She even tries to take down the original personality. Would've been a bit nice to have the other personalities pop out a little bit more in the last episode. I know it was more about the original explaining everything, but they are interesting guys. Do hang out with a variety of strange people though . At least some things were cleared up including how each personality came out. Takashi really did show up to be a replacement for the original, but just couldn't take all the emotional damage and pulled back himself. So needed Shuusuke and Hayato to help and also build up funds for when he'll need to get some medical help for his situation. Anyways while the early parts especially were pretty confusing at least the anime wrapped up fairly well.

It's probably in the mind again and maybe some drugs. I remember someone said about it in this thread. And I get neg rep for asking what that is.
it's in the episode when Narita was running around warning his friends about the crazy gay bishop. Then in Ootori's case. They show something in the table. Something like medicine.

Spoiler for Kakeru the druggie:
Pretty sure that conversation was cut from the anime? I don't remember, I assume it was considering these questions As a little side note, I guess I should note that the anime made it pretty obvious Kakeru had a point of contact with the protag in the past that they never clarify. That point of contact being that Spoiler for contact and the birth of Garuda:

At the end, this show turned out to be surprisingly good. I went into this expecting trashy entertainment (which it was with all the fanservice), but it actually had a good storyline. Too bad it was only 12 episodes. The show really should have been 2-cour in order to fulfill its potential.
* The character interactions drove this show. * Yes, this show may be Dora/Chitose/Takashi/Youji's dilemma more than anything, but the other characters really should have been fleshed out more. Takashi's side was especially neglected, even if his storyline was the most painful to watch, the classmates needed more development especially since they were a secondary harem. * The MC's condition had been around for years, yet it was only near the end that the other characters (other than Kakeru) began encountering him in a different persona than they were familiar with. Such situations should have happened sooner; it was fun to watch Chitose and Dora try to be Takashi. * Kobato was neglected. I understand that she's the least popular heroine, but we barely got to see more of her than as the little sister struggling to deal with her brother's problems. * Seriously? Characters being introduced in the final episode? Why didn't they do this sooner? 7/10. Really, if not for issues arising from the show being so condensed, I could easily see myself giving it a 9.
