Well he did get to see what he wanted in abundance.
No matter how much I want something as memorable as Cowboy Bebop from Watanabe Space Dandy fills this spot despite being completely oposite to Spike persona which for me was big part of series charm. You just keep wondering how did this witless aimless dude is still alive or is Gogol is a gathering of even bigger fools. |

I can kinda see what people mean by "hit-or-miss" with this show now. I liked the first two episodes, but this one not so much.
At the very least though, the giant pompadour-sporting robot was an instant win.~

it look like he suck when he used his own gun ( like some character from gun novel)
though he was lucky to miss all that shots but he rarely miss when he used mech/ship gun (ep1 when he catch that line + now with hawaii mech gun) - anyway didn't the cat said that Dandy say he don't want to used warp device because it's broken not because it make him lose his hair -so does that mean cat didn't used it in episode 1? (that why he still think it's broken?) -and when Dandy press warp button many time -> ship look like it was warping to different time line -> then pick one by random so empire = SERN google secret main company who want time machine from space Okabe Dandy? |

Looking at Dandy, he's like the space buffoon equivalent of Zapp Brannigan. Watching these 3 episodes feels like cliches and parodies of various anime. What I'm curious about is the Gogol Empire (yeah seems to be a jab at Google) and Dandy's connection to them. I'll watch it because it seems to follow the same path as Cowboy Bebop.

I'm slowly starting to get into the groove of this show. It's absolutely nothing amazing but it's entertaining enough. A show that has giant robots wearing aloha shirts can't be boring.
The next episode looks like a good one. Aliens + zombies.

Speaking of the Dan-dam, was anyone else reminded of Canti from FLCL?

In the Japanese version, they spoke in thick country-side hick accent. (Ibaraki-ben to be precise, I believe) Fitting since it's like a planet out in nowhere, and Dandy was the clueless stranger in their countryland.
