^ but Federer is no longer the dominating player he was before (age & compound injuries) , and it's a bit of a weird statement, after all Nishikori already defeated Djokovic the #1 seed and #1 in the world right now. I understand the sentiment though, the Federer Express already has a lot of history & achievements in his books.
anyway Kudos to Nishi. Guess with his increasing success & popularity we'll be seeing an increase in Baby Steps popularity (probly) ![]()

Now that Maruo lost, does that mean that he will not be able to participate in the All-Japan tournament this year? He is still taking notes, so it makes it seem like he will have additional matches with other players; however, I thought this was a tournament, so shouldn't he already be eliminated?
We will finally get to see Natsu play in the 24th episode of a 25 episode series.... Really now... That's really shafting the main heroine in the series.

Strange. I guess I have to go find those episodes. I could have sworn that he never sees her matches since he is usually fighting his own battles, and she finishes before he has a chance to see. Otherwise, he would go back for training instead of seeing her matches. Oh well, I guess I'll look it up someday.

It's still a nice chance to potentially see some play from Natsu in what has been a while. The show is obviously about the MC, but it is nice to see how Natsu is doing from time to time. If we can spend some time looking at potential future opponents we can probably get a bit of one of her matches.
Rough way to go out for Maruo, but it can't be helped. Some sports may have video review of calls, but can't get one here. Did put himself into a corner that one wrong call could end the game for him. I think the guy making the call will be glad it's over anyways. Probably a tough match in that second half with so many of Maruo's shots being right near the lines.

![]() So, Aoi finally debuted (but since Megu-chan is cute, we'll go with this). Eichiro gets to Natsu's game, and catches her on a really bad position (she was basically against a match point). Seeing the similarities between Natsu's current position and his Nabae game, he sees just how right her "you can win" advice truly was; as Na-chan's goes from a losing position to a landside victory. After that, we have Eichiro's usual obsession with practice; and as he was obviously overdoing he meets with an old guy named Aoi, a fated meeting that will change his future as much as his meeting with Na-chan did, starting by Aoi "forcing" Eichiro to spend a wonderful afternoon. The next episode looks really promising ♪♪
