The artboook is nicely done but some people feel that the series is taking the ecchi too far now, instead of it being a fighting girl series with ecchi it has become an ecchi series with fighting girls.

^This has been my thought pattern ever since Branwen got released (the 6th episode of the OVA series didn't help either, heh). Then again, the QB series has always been about fetishes, and Vanquished Queens is just showing a specific one, it just happens not to be one I'm interested in. The art is still impressive though. Guess I'll just see where the series goes with the next artbooks and OVAs.

Iam wondering if all these ecchi events are the cause of the SwampWitch to our QB girls and women. Either way I think it's not just the images that we need to look at here, but the story as well since some images are a bit concerning most especially Nowa's seems she's become a slave or something worst.

Although queen's blade is my favorite ecchi series by far, i think it could be much more and spread to a wider public if only the series could focus more in story and dialogues than nudity. The characters and backstories are amazing, some are truly creative, but they don't quite use it.

As jdennis007 said, the ecchi should be a consequence of the fights and the story, and not the other way around. By unnecessarily showing boobs and panty shots every two frames the ecchi becomes less exciting and more... embarassous. Sometimes too much is just too much and doesn't get any better, but actually worse: oversposing the girls makes them less interesting. I don't know about you guys (and girl), but for me the most exciting ecchi comes from the girls that shows the less (like Tomoe or Ymir for example).

So, i wouldn't be so tied to QB if it were just for the ecchi. The story and characters are what really makes it shine in my opinion. And for the serie to grow it should learn a think or two from Ikkitousen or even qwaser of stigmata, that are way inferior to QB in many ways but at least focus more in story and fight sequences than QB.

well, the third queen's blade season is actually the utsukushiki-toushitachi OVAs. Other than that, it will be queen's blade rebellion.
