Um...I think those are all meant to be the genderbent versions in RPG outfits...just the gender use of the outfits is questionable.

This is how Haruki would roughly look like as Chou Yuusha:



Haruhi's Chou Yuusha costume is base on her uniform, so Haruki's would be based on the male uniform. And of course shoulder pads are needed.

I think you have it too similar to the male uniform. It looks like he just used a sash instead of a belt and wore a cape with shoulder pads

According to the Armour Theory, strong female armours requires revealing skin, which is shown with Chou Yuusha Haruhi revealing some belly. Because only a tiny bit of skin is revealed compared to the original uniform, it means a small amount of change. Applying the same amount of change to Chou Yuusha Haruki, all he needs is shoulder pads to have equal amounts of change.

If Chou Yuusha Haruhi had shown more skin, I would have to cover Chou Yuusha Haruki with alot more armour according to the theory, and he may end up looking like a Kamen Rider.

The formulae for Armour Theory:

Females: Power = Skin/Armour + Absolute Territory

Males: Power = Armour/Skin + Shoulder Pads

Though there are some exceptions like Saber and He-man. Also if a character doesn't depend on armour, the theory doesn't apply.

EDIT: Its not length of skirt, its the Absolute Territory, measured from knees.

And the application of Western armour in fiction is different from the Eastern lol

Even Saber's armour is there to be blown apart, it hardly provides defence.

(Best fits would be good, but ironic fits would be more amusing...like Mikuru(small) as Gandalf the Grey, and Mikuru(BIG) as Gandalf the White)

The problem of Lord of the Rings is that has too few female characters. However, the Genderbent can fix the lack of men.

Haruhi/Haruki is too hot-blooded to be a Aragorn. Yuuki would be better (at last on Fellowship of the Ring, where he is more quiet and less a leader).

Gandalf would be Mitsuru(big)? Being the old mentor anda all. The smal one would be Sam. Taniguchi and Kunikida are good Pippin and Merry. Since Boromir is kinda hot-blooded, Haruki(pissed for not being the leader). I guess that Kyon would be a good Frodo. Itsuki is Legolas. Don't know who would be Gimli. Maybe Tsuruya-kun?

I think you may have missed the point entirely. My complaint is that, despite the sash, cape and shoulder pads, he's still just wearing the male North High uniform. Aside from the general color placement, the only part of the sailor uniform actually used in Haruhi's outfit was the skirt, and even that had something added to it. As it stands, he'd look ridiculously out of place with everyone else being in typical fantasy RPG garb.

But making him totally out of place is indeed what I'm trying to do. Chou Yuusha Haruhi herself is wearing something that's Tokusatsu and totally different in style from the other RPG costumes. She's closer to Sailormoon or some magical girl, Nanoha for example, than the others. While the others wear cloth or metal, she's wearing Tokusatsu plastic lol, which is also why I thought of Haruki as a Kamen Rider.

And for LOTR, I guess the Anti-SOS must somehow fit into Sauron's side.

Still missing the point here.

It can be totally different from the rest of the cast, it just has to look not like his school uniform.

Drop the tie, jacket, etc. Put something else in.

The pants can stay, but make them baggier.

Just some suggestions.

Maybe make him look kinda like KH2 Sora?
