Of all things (somewhat) Nitro+ related?
*lets out a sigh* WHY NOT ANYTHING ELSE! COME ON THIS IS 2008 DAMMIT! Ok enough complaining... This can turn out alright. The story is serious enough. And what's this about Nitro+ and Gonzo being friends? They worked on one anime together. This will be the 3rd thing related Nitro+ that will be animated. The other 2 wold be the ultra-forgettable "PHANTOM of INFERNO" OVA aswell as the "Demonbane" anime and OVA. And for reason no sees the great horror anime that could be made out of Saya no Uta or the great action anime out of Hanachirasu...

Prism Ark got an early anime treatment. Stuff like this usually means they were planning and got arrangements for an anime when they were developing the game. That or Nitro and that other company that actually made the game managed to sign on with a studio really fast.

It took AYAKASHI (Crossnet/Apricot) two years to get an anime adaptation, but that didn't help its production quality. I think media mix release timing is only important in terms of maximizing profit. Release time frame influencing production quality is merely superstition. If they haven't already started on production, three months is more than enough to start churning out quality episodes. But I think plans for the anime version were already decided before the game's release.
