I fell behind on the manga (basically right before the time skip) but I decided to try out the anime for awhile (because I missed hearing the seiyuu) so actually seeing everyone again made me incredibly happy.
Of course the actual reunion of Nami & Usopp was my favorite part of the episode.

The crew so close to being back together warms my heart. The episode was awesome, and I'm stoked to see what's next!
Also, I agree with what was said about 'We Go'. It feels like a throwback, and made me nostalgic towards a lot of the shows I watched back in the 90s. Good theme I think, should succeed 'We Are' honorably. |

I guess it will take some time for me to warm up to "We Go". It just does not feel as catchy as "We Are".
Anyway, Sanji's entrance was just pure classic comedy. I just could not stop laughing. Poor guy has been through hell, away from what he loves so much. It was also very funny that Zoro, the master of being lost, arrived 10 days earlier than everyone else. I guess he is no longer directionally challenged, but timely challenged. I can't wait to see what Luffy does with the fake-Hats. He can probably wipe them out just by looking at them. So far, only Nami and Usopp has shown part of their new techniques/abilities. This episode was way too short. Now, it is another long wait until next week.

the opening is very groovy.... WE GO!!!! Show us a fight in next episode pleaseee.... Last edited by ~Yami~; 2011-10-02 at 02:12. |

We might get them after the 26 episodes have passed, though for now i quite like the eye catch. It certainly follows the spirit that the straw hats are back together again.

Let's not forget the best line of the episode, I NEED LADY.

"We Go" is full of vigor and energy, which is perfect for the beginning of the second half of this story. Gotta start off with a bang. Like some others have mentioned, it's a good tune but it won't replace "We Are" in terms of being memorable and the classic for the series.
Nice episode. Even though it didn't cover much, the pacing flowed smoothly and didn't feel dragged out. Let's hope this quality continues onwards .

It all depends on the implementation in question. When there are scenes with long stare downs, nothing really going, or panning to previous parts just to buy time, the pacing suffers. This episode didn't do any of those, so it flowed nicely.

New OP, about time too ^^
So Luffy finished his training & the Straw Hats are slowly coming back together. It's nice seeing them again out of those weird islands. Nami sure grew up! Usop got some serious muscles. Brook, Robin & kawaii Chopper are back too. The fake Luffy & crew were pretty annoying, but I sure hope the real deal kicks their asses.
