... I wonder if a screencap sheet is allowed (as in a single image which contains a number of screencaps) here (in spoilers)? I can't remember if it is allowed or not.

You may post limited screenshots in the context of a discussion about the episode (or just as isolated examples), but "screencap sheets" are not allowed.

Ah, I see. So I guess I'll refrain for now.
Not that I have any idea on picking some screenshots to post here though.

I think this is a form of fanservice in order to compensate her future lack of roles and also to appeal her fans. Or, There is the chance they will rape the original material (yo! J.C. Staff!) as usually they do on second seasons. BTW, there is already subs from Elitists Fags Fansub. |

I'm personally hoping within hope that the extra focus on Mikoto in the OP and ED (the way it's set up clearly shows the staff considers her to be one of the main three characters in the show) means that she'll actually be getting more involvement in the plot than she did in the novels. Let's face it, she's non-existent in many of the big battles and stuff, even when she should have been involved simply by character definition, in the novels.
A small chance, I know. But like I said, hope within hope.

Just got done with the episode, and daman it's good to be back, Index.
I was wondering why they had excluded this part of the novels from the 1st season and had originally concluded it was due to pointlessness in the grand scheme (in all honesty, the series would survive just as well without this part of the novels), but I guess we have our real answer; they were saving it for the opener to season 2, and I think that was a great choice. This episode did really well with bringing us back to Index (especially with the plot's apparent newfound focus on Mikoto if the OP and ED are any indication); we get all our Index moments, our Touma moments, and our Mikoto moments all in one nice "Welcome Back" episode. It's one-episode stand-alone nature also makes it good for "easing" us back into the series and welcoming any newcomers who haven't watched or finished S1 yet; instead of throwing us into the thick of a big arc, we get this starter episode. A big, fat 10/10 from me. Good to have you back, Index.

Wow, that really couldn't have been more generic, Index back in her usual habbit of being kidnapped (preview bodes ill -_-), touma preaching and crying over his misfortune, and some other characters making some totally useless entrances.
Enjoyed it anyway. |
