So ends 2 days of School Idol Festivities. While there's not much in terms of anime announcements, there's been some announcements regarding the game so head over to the games forum to find out what's coming for those who play SIF.
However let's get to the heart of the festivities with a bunch of videos hosted by Aqours. Day 1 videos. As posted by playmaker2k, Day 2 videos. Gotta hand it to the Aqours members, they carried the festivities with a lot of grace, and the fans are liking them this much already. Also, Gilty Kiss... Aina you dork.

well episode 1 is here people and its.... weird? lol. but that is what I feel while watching it. its fun and it felt that a lot of things had happen in the span of 20 minutes. The songs are nice but the introductions are solid for me. The character was presented nicely and hinted are already dropped by for the plot. and to be noted. I haven't watched the interviews or read the character info which is why I'm coming blind here to just fully enjoy the show.
My only nitpick here for the episode is the sound or the voices are off? or maybe its my mpc that is unsync but the scripts or the voices doesn't match with the open of their mouth. Especially the part with Yohane's dark angel entrance.

good first episode. i can't believe i'm watching lovelive again, 'im gonna cry :')
to avoid building to much expectation i purposely avoided any preview material apart from listening to the song so i came in discovering everything. those girl look totally crazy and i'm sure i'll have a ton of fun watching them the beginning of the story look very very similar to first season, but i think it will be nice to have a different story from the same basis. (but i far that all we'll hear is complain on similarities ) the last part where riko turn down chika had me burst in laughter. |

Confirmed. This is gonna be a fun ride
First of all, points right off the gate for not opening the series in the same way as the original, and then some more for going straight to the point: Chika, here's Muse. Go for it. No one even mentioned anything regarding helping the school. Great stuff. Even more points for showing us most of the group inmediately while giving us a good idea of what to expect from them in terms of personality. On that note, Ruby had a much better start than expected, though I'm pretty sure most people will be drooling over Riko, and to be fair, that's for sure, in a way, one hell of a first impression You already proved to be a great friend and partner this episode, and I definetly look forward to her getting "crazy"along with Chika Maru is already such a cute guardian for Ruby, Yohane-sama is, well, herself, and I'm soooo glad to see that, despite fulfilling the same role, Dia is nowhere near as stiff as Eri was at the beginning (how do you know so much about Love Live, kaichou~?). Now, if you she can just join earlier... No, seriously, Dia is the one I want to like the most! Chika is fine too, definetly has the energy for the role, even if she doesn't stand out as much. Except when it comes to shipping. This is already so much more yuri friendly than the original LL And on that note, everything feels so much more lively and expressive, which probably will help give this group its own identity. About Kanan, she's fine, a good, seemingly dependable big sister, but boy... drama is definetly going to ensue. But anwyay, its definetly guaranteed to be a fun time with the new ladies. I'm so glad to have caught up with the original LL before this, if only to get excited with that big reference. Also helps that was my favorite song from the original series (movie not included). |
