Watch anime on my 19" LCD Monitor on the computer, even if it's on dvd. I bring some cheeseballs and a large drink and turn the lights off. I listen to my 2 tiny PC speakers and my tiny sub. Still, even though I don't have great sound and my PC is kinda old, I can't help but love watching 2-3 hour chunks of anime with my feet up on my desk and reclining in my computer chair.

I'm a misfortunate college student unlike the rest of you so I have to watch all my anime on old windows media player, on my 17 inch monitor, at my desk, with headphones on as to not disturb the others, and with my homework in front of me reminding me why I shouldn't be watching anime, or even posting this right now

hm my room is very small so a table and a chair dun fit in here, so i put my pc on the floor next to my bed, so i can watch it while sleeping under my good warm blanket. i watch all series of chobits from 11PM to 7 AM and just sleep after it finished. it fun to watch on bed hehe. never burn them though, planning to buy some of the DVDs

How do you watch your anime?
Just curious to see how all of you enjoy your anime. Feel free to describe it or post pics.
As for me, nothing fancy. Fansubs + DVDs that would annoy the other people who live here I watch on my laptop. Everything else I watch on my TV -- an old 25" with surround sound. Last edited by NoSanninWa; 2007-02-14 at 21:39. Reason: Threads merged |

Gosh... This brings back nostalgic memories of the old thread from before the big crash of Oct '03!
At my house I watch my anime on a 19" monitor. It's not awesome, but it does look nicer than your laptop. At a friend's house I watch anime on his TV screen. He has the output from his video card connected to the TV's S-video so all he has to do is flip the input select and voila! I don't know the exact size of his screen, but it is pretty nice. Maybe I'll have some pictures of our respective setups soon.

I just throw myself in my confortable chair and watch anime on my 21 inch TV screen (yeah yeah one day I should buy a bigger tv but I'm quite happy with this one ). I finally was able to get the necesarry cables and drivers to make it work you gotta love surround btw
PS Another related thread is the what do you do during anime thread : very funny to see what some people do sometimes http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=10106 Last edited by 7thMethuselah; 2004-04-21 at 18:00. |

I try to stay away from dubs (such lameness) as much as I can, but sometimes when I'm in the mood to be sleepless I go down to the basement where my 65'' TV lies (oohhh yea ) and watch some Cowboy Bebop or something.
But 99% of the time I watch subs, and it's on this computer. It works pretty well considering it's mine & I don't have to worry about other people wanting to use it and stuff *shrug* It's no 65-inch screen but it's good enough. Quote:
