A bit on the fence with this one. I'm evidently not the intended demographic and it shows but I do feel like there's some potential to this show.

The was so...... funny lol I think I maybe found my "gag" anime of the season :'D I can't help but laugh at most of the otome tropes and our main guy with the grass powers made it even better. I found the main girl to be really annoying but that helped making the situations even funnier (be careful the next time you climb a tree, girl) so it's all good lol.
The ambiguity of the story caught my attention as well so I'm looking forward to see how this will develop. Keeping it for now. |

Though, whether they're going to focus only on Koharu and her boys or not is remain to be seen. |

Saw the first episode last night, animation and character design is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how the series unfolds.
Also already found the character that fits into the "Ayanami Rei" archetype, not that she was hard to pick out.

Still a lot of questions that needs to be answered and hopefully the rest of the season will be able to make more clarity. On the technical note, I think the ED song is quite pretty.

Lol, episode for me was "Oh, mostly Koharu? Skip, Fast Forward, Skip."
Yeah, I'll take more of Mr. Gun Guy over Koharu any day of the week, and that coming from me particularly is saying something.

This was another wonderful episode. Barely surviving after falling from the peach tree last week, the only thing our main girl had on her mind while outsiders were invading and attacking the ship was no other thing that the very same peach trees she ended up burning herself. This is the top quality tragic plot I was waiting for :')
Can't wait for next week xD |

Under attack!
Hmm... mysterious guys and more questions.. That little chick making their meal was cute ^^ They did some strategizing too. All paired up now ^^ Wow, so it's pulling people from different timelines?! Very interesting.

That was actually more interesting than I thought. Fire girl is still dumb as bricks and the people are this group are just dumb if they think they can last any real amount of time secluded together and not find out about each other. If they just shared they wouldn't have such a mystery on their hands.
I am interested in what the antagonist guy is really after and if this "World" group is really on the up and up. Also, we have a new member to he group and he finally gives us a clue that each of these people come from different points in time as well as area.

Thanks to 0utf0xZer0 sharing his thoughts on this show with me, I recently checked out Norn9's firs two episodes.
I have to say, it's a pleasant surprise so far. The show is good at setting a very enchanting and engaging mood, and it has a very good sense of style and pacing. It definitely helps that there's 3 major female characters, which contributes to it not feeling overly harem-esque yet. In fact, one of the two most standout things to me so far is the very straightforward and uninterrupted Kakeru/Koharu dynamic. This is one of the most charming and lovely aspects of the show so far. There's this superb sweetness sense between the two. I also like the irony of a flame-using girl hitting it off so well with a guy that's great at plant-mastery. The other most standout thing to me so far is the BGM. It's really good. It truly helps this fictional universe come alive. The action scenes are solid. There's much to like about Koharu, but there's a certain simple-mindedness to her that hurts her character some. Her inner monologues are fine, but her actual dialogue makes her seem very slow and not quite with it. She could use a bit more sharpness and personal sense of agency. However, she does come across as a genuinely very nice and warmhearted person, which I like. Mikoto provides a good personality contrast to Koharu. The male characters are a bit more uniform in their boy band-esque bishiness than I'd like, but they're Ok anyway. And this aspect of the male characters probably comes with the territory of this being an Otome game adaptation. On the whole, a very nice show so far. I hope it keeps it up.

I can take or leave the show.
But the music is really nice. I would like the OST, if it's available. In particular, can anyone ID the female vocal song played at the end of episode 1, from when he fishes her out of the water until the explosion?

I burst out laughing at the scene where Kakeru and Koharu first met. The music was so dramatic. And all just because he wanted to save her from getting wet. XDDD
The visuals and music are beautiful. And that OP and ED! Gorgeous. I like the interesting spin on your usual otome setup this has and will definitely be sticking around to see how it plays out.

Watched the first two episodes, well, after the first one I was ready to just stop, but the OP seemed to imply that the show will focus even on the other girls and I hope so. Because honestly the peach girl is ... well Irenesharda's definition fits perfectly. To the point that also the dialogues seemed accidentally ironic, when she said that the MC was first one ever to find her interesting I didn't have any doubts about it
Instead I liked the lead girl and if the OP is of any indication I'm looking forward to see how it will develop with the guy with the strange gun. (That'd be one of my favorite settings, having the girl and the boy as enemies but slowly get closer and closer, sadly it's not something I usually see). For the same reason the one who is working against them from the inside should be the guy paired with her, apparently her childhood friend who is expecting something but to prevent that they made a promise (when usually it happens the opposite).

Episode 3:
Ah so we do have a bit of characterization in this show and this week focused more on Kageru. And it turns out, his father was killed but he was spared instead. There's also some flashback regarding Sakuya as well. Well I hope pacing picks up a bit. It seems that the story focuses on a variety of characters that intersects different routes. Lol, the drawing...
