I can't decide which track I like best out of #18 and #19, both I really like and yet they're so different. Anyway this is a top score, after I fully listen to it a few times I'll make a more detailed post.
Edit - Track 30 is just brilliant and has made me even more confident of the final pairing. Last edited by Westlo; 2008-02-27 at 10:09. |

Ah, such a pretty OST. I have been looking forward to it so much.
Track 15 cracks me up so much. It's gonna be stuck in my head all day. Is that a trio of the three girls or just a random chorus? Track 19 is highly emotional and extremely beautiful. Of course, it was for a pretty powerful scene in the first place, but it's very strong on its own. Track 29 - Ah, the obligatory Orgel version. Well...I don't know about obligatory. But for some reason there seems to be an orgel version a lot. That being said, it's very sweet. I can't wait to hear it in a really sweet scene with tearful confessions. Track 30 - Another remix of the OP, it seems. Also beautiful. Makes me wish I actually paid attention during piano lessons as a kid. And I'm back to listening to 15. Wish I had the lyrics... |

#19 and #30 are my favorites. #19 is a beautiful, moving piece that evokes images of a sad, tearful Hiromi. Makes you wish that you could take Hiromi's tears away. #30 to me gives a sense of hope and happiness that would make sense if it is the theme chosen for a happy ending (starts off slow but becomes more powerful further in).

No one mentioned it here yet, but I definitely have a weak spot for #28.
It's the song from the sunset scene between Shin and Noe in episode 1. That was when I officially fell in love with this series, and couldn't stop replaying that one scene. It gives me a nostalgic feeling even though the series is merely past its half. Other songs I like in particular are #9, #12 , #19, #24. All in all, outstanding OST, no doubts about it.

Here are my favs
14) Ahh! Drums! now this was a surprise ^^ 15) LOL...even more of a surprise! Noe is a genius XD 19) I had my eyes ears on this track ever since that scene. Easily the best from the OST and oh so emotional everytime I listen to it ;__; 20) Such a "soothing" track, I really like the changes in pitch. 29) Just beautiful...such an innocent tune

Let's see, my favorite tracks are...
both the opening and the ending The opening was already one of my favorites, but that wasn’t the case for the ending until just recently. I have grown very fond of the ending (the full version of course)—it’s one of those songs you have to listen multiple times before it finally sticks in your head. Track #04 Mujaki sa wo Senaka ni Slow and painful leading you into some kind of void. Track #06 Garasu no Naka no Nichijou Nice and heartwarming. Track #09 Kagami, Kimi wo Utsuhite It starts with great tension as high notes take the overall melody, but once the piano kicks in, it’s very soothing until the end. A bit wistful perhaps, but overall conveying a situation that couldn’t be helped when it was meant to happen by some kind of unintended desire. Track #12 Iki Koori, Yuki Hana Mau The beginning is slow and dull, but once it reaches the middle section, it’s filled with a heavy mood full of very strong feelings. Track #21 Madobe ni mo Tareru Shoujo Violin ver. Another one that is very slow and painful. The high notes of the violin play a fundamental role transmitting this sense of agony and despair. Track #24 little love A melody that starts funny, but I have to love the piano when it kicks in. As childish as it may seem, it conveys truly pure feelings, perhaps way too innocent and kind. **Track #28 Kokoro Kasanete** My favorite without doubts. It’s a piano melody that plays innocently inside of your ears—a pure wish, and yet, a longing and nostalgic feeling that wants to share part of its melancholy with you. It slowly grabs the essence of your heart without stealing pity as it conveys some of the most beautiful feelings. |

Yeah, CD Japan's shipping prices are by weight, and they offer a number of different shipping options depending on how much you want to spend/how fast you want to receive it. So they're a pretty good choice for buying standalone Japanese CDs.

I recall it being played twice now. The first that I remember was at the end of episode 6 starting at 19:18 when they revealed the reason why Hiromi's behavior changed after she moved in. It made me associate #19 strongly with Hiromi. The second time was in episode 9 at 17:38 in the scene between Noe and Shin. |
