It will be definitly Layfon vs Savaris becouse in ep23 there is that close up to Layon's 12th HB sword... right after savaris took his own weapon..... its like a match will happen between them.... but I wonder where Layfon is standing... Grendan or Zerenii... since Nina is in Grendan and Leerin in Zerenii.... and well in Zerenii that monster appears.... Other option is that like Leerin said to Gorneo is not asking him to take the sword and give it to Layfon.... but she asked Gorneo to help her go to Layfon.... guardian from monsters when she will travel....... so there is the possibility that Leerin will go to Grendan where Layfon is.... give him his weapon or Leerin was about to go to Layfon but then the monster appears on Zerenii... without spoiler pictures of next ep... I can only speculate how things will go... |

I say that be a pretty big letdown. The last 20 some odd episodes we get her daydreaming about Layfon and when she finally get's to, she only see's him once. Well counting the slap twice, but then get's all emo because Layfon wouldn't slip her the tongue. Maybe I'm seeing things to black ni white and this is just groundwork if they have another season planned...

And I really hope Goreno just takes it, because that would be the intelligent thing to do... rather than bringing the girl bringing the weapon. That whole stupid thing has stretched on at least three episodes longer than it has any business doing. I think the only point of it right now is to force Leerin into danger. |

In the shelter... when Leerin was running out of it and Naruti stopped her... Leerin said she needs to go to Layfon (Naruki asked is Layfon so important for her... )... than Naruki said that this is not Grendan and that they dont have so skilled fighters that could keep her safe.... than Leerin asked where Gorneo is and Naruti took her to him...
I first throught that Leerin asked him to take the sword to Layfon but when I concentrated more on what she is saying it was pointing that she asked him to help her to go to Layfon..... than gorneo sees the mark of psyharden on the box... end Well it would be obvious that Leerin needs to give Layfon that katana herself.... since like Layfon mentioned in Nina's talk why he is not useing katanas..... Leerin needs to explain that her father gived it to her so she could pass it to layfon... her words would make Layfon feel again safe and happy and so he could use katana's again becouse Delk forgiven him... and Leerin was kinda risking to bring it back to him.... (I kinda hope she would at least kiss him on the lips or hug him ^^) what would happen if Gorneo would give that weapon to layfon..... here for you I got it from a girl that asked me..... Lafyon looks on the weapon and will say but I cant use it >__<....... kinda he needs Leerins words since Delk is her father and explanation comeing streight from leerin will bigger impact on him :P Time will show what will happen... the preview doesnt tell much maybe becouse its so intense in action and stuff.... |

Dang it! So close, so close.... the student president almost got what he had coming. She had to stop the punch... It was nice seeing Felli stand a firm ground, really nice. Things are getting some what hectic and pace going super fast. I wonder how this will end, at this rate its going to be an incomplete rushed ending. Anyways, I hope Fon-fon bites the big on in the end. Is this wrong that I hope for the main hero to die? Fine, then end it with Fon-fon X Leerin kiss or paring scene!

Reminds me of Macross Frontier's ending. What a hack job that was.

I'm totally confused right now. Those fox guys getting thrown in the picture is going all over the place. The series is not doing a very good job of explaining the fox guys, where they come from, what they are trying to do, who is guiding them, how they got in the tunnels, or where the filth monsters come from.
Everything is getting thrown together to finish this series by episode 24, and it just does not make sense. Furthermore, the red haired guy where the witch is at... He just randomly appears, fights, and then disappears. There is no background story on him. He just comes, and pawns people, and just seems to know everything. They were doing an okay job with pacing up until the last few episodes. Now, I'm lost....

It's definitely going to be hard if not impossible for them to pull off a satisfying end with just one more episode left. Maybe they'll do another season but even if they do this season's ending is still in jeopardy of turning out fairly bad. Next episode could end up being a complete and utter train wreck. I'm not too optimistic about where this is leading at all.

Ahh! So next weeks episode really is the end?? They could easily make this a 50 episode season. So many things still unanswered and stuff.
This happened was alright. Mild action, some screentime by the Heavens Blade Receivers, and a whole lot of set up for next week.

meh eps, everyone else already voiced the same concerns i have after watching it, mainly crappy ending that doesn't resolve anything and leaves alot more stuff open then it really should.
original anime endings need to stop....

To be fair, most animes based on ongoing series do have a track record of messy endings. Everything's so confusing though =x One episode isn't enough to explain everything, much less jam in the final epic fight.
Also heh at Layfon chasing after Nina until the last episode! |

They should have just done the intercity match, included all the missing stuff from ninas disappearance and then for the last episode do begining of vol9 and give it an open end. Then perhaps do some of the side story as dvd specials. Now it looks like its a giant mess ready to explode... actually in many instances I think it already did.
