I'm not all that suprised with his bat theme, i think it fits him pretty good actually. I hope he pwns Ichigo now. Gosh im so hot and cold about this fight! I don't know who to root for. Viva la Diva!

I'm telling you that is Ulquiorra's initial ressurecion! That is his adjuchas form! He will use a second ressurecion! Because he is a VL IMO and then he will show us what he used to look like in his VL form and it will be dragon like...I am praying for this so badly.

Also wonder what Ichigo's counter will be I dont think the mask time will pay any dividends . He really need to unleash his Hollow/vizard powers which we got a glimpse of during Vizard training . On the other hand Ulqi has to prove his badassness he lost a lot of cool points . After he got timed out and given a suicide mission i.e. dispensable

The thing I don't get is that Ulquiorra has great perception abilities and a bat is blind it makes no sense

Bats aren't blind (that's myth) and they use echolocation, which is superior to sight in a lot of ways.

I was hoping for something less-expected and generic for Ulq's release but the bat-theme fits him. We'll see how the character design is done, I hope it lives up to some of the great fan-art posted!
