I meant the arc in general. There's been at least an episode or two worth of useless crap they could've cut, but they decided not to just so they could hit 14 episodes in the arc.

Certainly props in how utterly disturbing that guy was. To be fair the OP pretty well gave away that he was not a good guy (or that he'd be killed by Death Gun). But once the arc got really going and you had the accomplice talk, yeah it seemed safe to say this guy was involved. They really went over the top to make this guy almost rabid. But considering he's a psychotic serial killer I suppose it works.

At least Sinon managed to help herself out there. Thought the key was just going to be stalling for time by keeping him talking, but instead actually got some fighting in there also. Put up a good fight and bought enough time.

The action was good. Kirito put up a good effort to hold his own and Sinon was actually able to contribute. Created an opening and Kirito took advantage of it.

Certainly the Death Guns got the matchups they wanted. Great luck for both of them since the one guy had the chance to kill the real girl that he wanted and the other one got the rematch against Kirito.

Hey, don't forget Klein, he had the frayed hair too! And he said Kirito was his type back at the beginnning of season one...

The episode might have been a little better if they'd drawn out some of the earlier parts and shortened the bit with Shinkawa towards the end. Also there's a couple details from the novel that I wish had been made more clear though they're not hugely important in the overall scheme of things.

Phew. I skipped Asuna's bits, but judging by what I've seen the most absurd AsunaxKirito scene is averted. Phew. So glad.

Anyway, I giggled like crazy during lovers' suicide. Sinon too cute. And Shino being Shino, during the breakaway scene. Seriously, girl's got priorities straight when she wants it. The only girl to have her priorities straight in the franchise.

The double suicide hug was cute and I was cracking up during that scene. Other than Sinon's friend was real creepy but Sinon did good by buying time and actually managing to fight back.
