Actually Cox, watch S2 Episode 1 again, just after Tieria intervenes and pulls Setsuna's bacon out of the fire. The sequence on Ptolamaios II, where it shifts through the Bridge and down into the Hanger with Ian? It shows us clearly, even I admit I was wrong about the drive's placement, and yes, you're right the drive housing would have to be half of what it was durring S1. But you can see in the cone locked in a backward position, one drive / or cone. Yet the other, locked in a positon facing to OO's right (toward Ian as a matter of fact), the entire cone housing is missing, indeed the swivel unit is hollow with chasis locks from the locks of it, to accept a drive unit there. The implication is clear, the backpack / shoulder thingie-ma-bops house the GN Drives.

I've been thinking....is it possible they worked the drives togethor. It produces ^ more power, right? So there has to be a synergetic effect going on...maybe they compressed two drives into one device?

That was my popular line of reasoning before S2 Episode 1. Again, I'm convinced now that the drives are housed in the shoulders unit thingies. Because you're thoughts make sense, because hey! I was thinking the same thing! But then they showed us OO with a single drive, and a cone missing, and Ian saying they could now test Exia's reactor... Again, the implication is clear, as the OO's chest cavity wasn't open for Drive installation or anything, indeed the entire unit except the shoulder unit looked ready for action. I personnally think the drive configuration in the shoulders, is stupid. Unless they're supper armored or what not. So I'm not pleased to be proven wrong.

I can't wait to see ED Sequence. I am really looking forward to that as well as the "awakening" of 00 Gundam. I just hope its just as good or better than the OP Sequence.

Graham's scientist buddy friend. He's practically one of the first 5 people introduced in Season 1. Remember, the guy with glasses and long hair at the Enact Trial Demonstration, that talked with Graham about the Enact? He's also the first American guy to start studying the Gundams and GN Particles.

It just bugs me that they show the size of the Drive on purpose and then they magically make it smaller to fit there new scale. Its not like the 00G is 4x better then the last gen suits

Oh well I will still enjoy the episode regardless.

The point of the 00 Gundam though is that it's supposed to be that much better compared to the last gen suits due to the Twin Drive System.

As to the size of the GN Drives, if there's anything Season 1 showed us it's that they often explain such discrepancies later, and satisfactorily. Only a few hours left, so let's see how they manage to clear this one up.

Personally, I think that the solar furnace will be put inside the main body, and until its in, they can't put in the respective cone for it. That's my theory on the matter.

I am really hoping the 00 and the other gundams to be shown on the JNN News kicking A-Laws asses. That would be really embarrassing.

Marina will see 00 and will think it's Setsuna and be happy. Hey, if I saw 00 I would think its Setsuna piloting it. Same colors, similar design, and specializes in close combat like Exia? Definitely Setsuna F. Seiei.

I'd love that too.... Only thing is, 00 does not have Landspinners...

The Ahead would have possibly fired a shot first since in the preview it showed the 00 with a GN Field in front of it, indicating that it might have blocked the shot.
That's just my spec.

Anyways, looking forward to 00's debut!!!

I would like to know what purpose does the Twin Drive on the 00 Gundam has? It's the only Gundam capable of close-range combat, but it still does have its weaknesses. Ali, Masked Man, and Louise will give Setsuna trouble since they are capable opponents. How many factions do we have this season? Federation, A-Laws, Cataron, and now the revival of Celestial Being.

The TDS is what makes 00 4th Gen. and eventually Super Robot. I count 3 factions plus other nations. CB, Feds + A-Laws, Kataron, and everyone else.
