feel's made some works that I like, and I trust Kawaguchi. One of my all time favorite directors. It's some new blood for the series, and I don't think that's a bad thing. As long as it's still recognizably Minami-ke, seeing how a new group of people interpret the manga will be fun.

Well at least we'll be ensured that it'll look good with feel. I mean as much as you can go hate on Yosuga no Sora and Mayo Chiki, these series are very well made considering what they're supposed to be.

The Minami-ke anime is an interesting abnormality. Most anime franchises try to preserve the same studio and a similar staff throughout, but Minami-ke's four seasons use four completely different directors and three different studios! Even if its at the cost of the anime's quality, it's still fascinating to see how different staff adapt and expand on the manga.

^ Looks surprisingly or unsurprisingly cheap (depending on what you were expecting). Of course you can't judge quality by one trailer alone but there's a static feel to the characters in that trailer.
