So...we getting two cross dressers now? Wait, we might get TokujiraxEx-delinquent now crossdressing straight-laced guy. in that case, there will be no more hindrances for BotanxItsuki!

I still couldn't find any news on volume 4. So we'll have to wait longer than expected for translations by Hachimitsu Scans. Ch. 25 should come out in a few days, I'm starting to get worried whether it will even be printed at this point. That would be already the 7th chapter after vol3.

After chapter 21, 22 and 24 I can't imagine that there will be an ending that is not with Botan. I'm biased though.

As for JP preference, it is pro Botan. Volume 1 where Botan was basically just a typical guard dog childhood friend, it got 4 5* 1 4* 3 3* 1 2* 1 1* voting on Amazon.jp
Volume 2 where Botan started to shine, it had 5 5* 1 4*, and the Volume 3 where Botan was fleshed out, it has a pure 5* rating (6 times)

Or course that is no definite proof, so I checked the comments on Vol3 as well and they are majorly for Botan. There was no comment that singled A-chan out as favourite. They either like both, or just Botan.

^That was out for some time now. Though, this recent one is from another translator, which is nice too. I hope we get to see more releases now since Hachimitsu hasn't been updating for a long time now and the new group is the one that mass released the Tensei Shitara slime datta ken chapters so I'm hopeful.

Hachimitsu Scan's last statement on this was from the second June. They will work on it again when Volume 4 gets out. They expect it to be in July. the link I posted in april corrected itself. Now it states the 15th July as release date of the 4th Volume.

This might actually be the first (or second. Depends on whether this one or Hatsuko Zombie ends first) time I'd get salty if the first/main girl wins. Botan is just way too good with Itsuki. They actually have a nice chemistry compared to the ItsukixTokujira pairing.

One more chapter plus a little bonus content before Hachimitsu scan is through with Volume 4.
Don't forget to reread at least chapter 18 from them, because that was the one with that april fool like translation. (might as well read the others after it too).

After that, it's back to waiting. probably like 10months to a year again.

Sorry for the double post, but this is quite the big announcement from Hachimitsu Scans.

Instead of waiting for every Volume to be released, they will now use the official, freely viewably online raws as basematerial for their translation every month.

As such they translated ch. 25, 26 and 26.5 already, only leaving ch. 27 as currently untranslated.

Their anouncement is of course longer and contains various details of their reasoning. But I don't think I should copy it whole, or am allowed to link to a scnalation group.

(but she doesn't know the feelings are just towards female Itsuki. Botan declares her feelings for Itsuki to Ah-chan as well- (but she means the male version) They are both shocked by this. If I don't get the narration wrong at the end (which is of course possible) it says that Itsuki/their feelings for him/her cannot be shared among these two who share so many other things. I would like that path. I prefer a 1 relationship + 1 friendship ending rather than an ending in which Itsuki has to live a split life with 2 relationships. At this point Itsuki only knows of Botan's feeling for him from the confession to Itsuki(girl) and the kiss afterwards, he has yet to properly interact with Ah-chan since his unmasking. He wonders what those two are talking about after Botan shoo'd him out of the library in the previous chapter.
