Its even better, Pucci afaik had three voice actors who were together in Fate Zero:
- Shou Hayami in All Star, aka Tokiomi Tohsaka
- Jouji Nakata in Eye of Heaven, aka Kotomine Kirei
- Tomokazu Seki in Stone Ocean anime, aja Gilgamesh.

They most likely didn't even do it on purpose, which makes it all the more amazing.

The show was released on Netflix Japan too, right? To me, that indicates they don't give a shit about the TV broadcast, so hopefully they'll release episodes every month like what was initially reported.

IIRC Netflix already take down "monthly release" from Part 6 schedule.
With Part 6 regular broadcast scheduled on January, my guess second part will be around March to keep 'early access' benefit while series continue with Episode 13 onwards.

I really hope this batch of episodes was an exclusive "preview" and Netflix will release the next episodes weekly because dumping twelve episodes at once completely killed the hype and discussion everywhere.

They announced when the next episodes will be released: Fall 2022. That's right, Fall. Almost a full year since the first batch. Netflix has truly fucked Jojo over.

And it'll just be 12 episodes again, so we may have to wait 9 more months for the final batch.

Is the entire 36 episodes already complete? Or are they using the split cour formula to have time to finish up the episodes?

No clue, but I'm going with not complete or they would release it faster. They must know they're killing the hype.

Definitely the latter.

First cour, in comparison to past JoJo, indicated their primary concern is to polish the CG.
An understandable decision IMO as without some crazy investors, you wouldn't do Stone Ocean and Steel Ball Run hand-drawn.

Then yeah, it can't be helped. It's split-cour because they need more time to complete the episodes to air. Netflix might have money, but it looks like it isn't enough to just have a 3-cour anime.

Another factor is that David Production have 2 other big series this year. Spriggan is ready apparently, but it clearly affected the JoJo production.

They have money but Jojo just isn't at the top of their priority list. They didn't even bother licensing all the previous parts, though that might vary depending on the region.

They changed Anasui's name to "Narciso"? WTF?
