I'm curious of what play-asia gives you as a freebee, I've ordered two items in the past and durring christmas, got stickers and my recent purchase came with a Sony calender.
Along with these purcahses comes with a $5 coupon which is cool since my next order will be SD Gundam Gashapon Wars for GCN. |

Me can recommend japanpa,
now a part of my favourite import shops. Unfortunately their Quick find option doesn't work well with firefox, just switch to advance mode. Btw, always compare the prices (include the P&P cost) of each retailer before ordering, sometimes the best deals isn't really the best one. |

Originally, paletweb only sold console games and dojin games until recently they put pc games catelogs on their website.
Check up this section for new released/ pre-ordered pc games: http://www.paletweb.com/search.asp?Sellect_Platform=23 |

uuhm well i have a question, about this all, i am interested in buying the new Hack/GU game, but the hting is i dont have a credit card, cannot do cheques, the only thing i can do is by banking the money over to another bank acount that is of the coorperation, are there sites that allow payment like that? by banking the money to their bank acount?
but i have heard of somehting called Paypal, but before i start messing up, waste my money by it, could someone tell me how it works? maybe it can solve my problem of payment methods so that i dont have to bank the money to another bank acount with the use of internet banking |

Play-asia does accept such payment method, but also alternative methods as well, like Moneybookers, paypal etc. I reckon you should check the help section from each shop, because it varies. Quote:
then topup money onto it, from you bank account, wait few days till the money appears on your account and then make a payment. Or you can pay directly via debit or credit card, but over paypal. Like before, best to do is to read the help stuff from the paypal site. Quote:
If you're ordering it from a non European shops, such as Play-asia, ask them to mark it down (to £18 or max £30 if they are based in the US) If you need more help about importing stuff to the uk, i suggest you to visit the ntsc-uk forum, they also have Buy, Sell & Exchange section. |

From my sister's experience, she bought a couple of ARIA volumes from Taiwan, a couple of Ouran volumes in raw Japanese and another yaoi manga and she's never had a problem. They do overcharge a bit though.

Chinese games - where to get?
I used to play Chinese RPG games back when I was younger in my home country (no, not China, HK, or Taiwan ). Er, well, I played some after I came here to the U.S., namely 絕代雙驕 I & II. Ok, so I don't have the facility to type chinese so I copied that name from the other thread.
Anyway, I've seen a couple of Japanese games that look really nice but unfortunately I can't read Japanese. I don't like playing a game without knowing the story. However, my Chinese is better (though not that good) and I know (in the past) that some Japanese games get translated into Chinese. Also, there are some good Chinese games as well (that thread above mentions a few) so I was wondering where I could buy them from the U.S. I know YesAsia has some, but are there other sites that sell Chinese PC games that I can order from the U.S.? As I mentioned, my Chinese is average (well, elementary-school level + a bit more) so I have trouble reading through Chinese web sites easily to find the info I want. If you could give some recommendations of such sites that would be great. If they are in Chinese then I will slowly read through them. At least it is easier than searching for it in the first place. Thanks! |
