Pretty sure if you became a vampire subclass you don't want it to be cured.
After pounding out some ideas, I do realize I made quite a few mistakes. But [The Daily Lives of Elder Tales Players] remain on track. :3

Here's some food for thought: If enough players took the different non-combat roleplaying and profession subclasses, they would theoretically be able to build a player town and kickstart a player-run economy.
Vampires are a confirmed subclass though, so I'd rather not subvert. Your other idea has merit. Considering that my fic focuses on a player being a shop owner catering to NPCs and players in player town, she needs to hire other players to raid dungeons for her. Adding those Maoyuu dungeons would be a sweet idea!!

Yes, I'm talking about a player who does a legendary quest to acquire a Deed to the Land, making his subclass a Feudal Lord and the right to establish a town in 0.4 or even lower if he dares. I reckon these wild places have far better resources or hidden treasures or special places of interest nearby, hence the draw to go set up shop out there. A town in the wild is also open to commerce for players travelling around the area. Being in the town lets non-PK players make use of the town's defences while they are there. But while you can set up a shrine/jinja/church/cathedral in the town for players living in the town to respawn (PKers respawn back at a major city like Akiba, or a graveyard in their own town), there is no sanctuary anywhere. IE if PKers manage to break into the town, they are free to pvp, rape, kill and loot everything in sight, or if they are nicer, just extort them. Sometimes, players can just ambush convoys going to and from the city, which may choke supplies coming to the wild town. All these activities then creates a demand for mercenaries to work for these towns too. This is all in my headcanon though. But a really fun premise to play with. My character, a summoner/merchant, spawns inside her shop, the Fletch's Tear Trading Post, in one such town. I haven't placed it yet, but its along the coast of the Sea of Japan. The story then revolves around her and the people who live and trade in that town. Already, the story is writing itself and more to come as I read through EVE Online's history for more inspiration...

I'm trying to iron out something, and in typical Box fashion it will be as grimdark as possible.
There's a black hole of information, so I'll have to call on my old mmo and rpg self. I tried to get a <<Rider>> Secondary Class together, but what I got was too imba. Hmm~ I wonder how far a <<Sailor>> can go...

You mean as in how far they can sail? There's no stated limitation, so to the other end of the world if they wanted to. Careful of the sea monsters though. |

There is a certain chance of success based on percentage of hp left and level; which makes it a lot like catching Pokemon. Raising the class proficiency raises the <<Success Rate>> It doesn't sound too bad, but even a level 1 has a very very small chance of success in riding a dragon... You can only mark three at a time. The oldest one will become wild again if you <<Ride>> a fourth. They're done if they're dead. Quote:

The wiki says <<Fisherman>> also has the title of <<Slayer>> for aquatic-type at least.
You probably don't need an entire boat full of <<Sailors>>. Most of them could be <<Fishermen>> and <<Chefs>> or <<Housekeepers>>.

I must say, I honestly never expected to find ShiroexIsaac fanfics ... and especially not before episode 9. But it's happened.
How did I even find that. Ah, well. I'm too bored of homework, I must be desperate to actually find something like this and share it. |
