Between the character designs and the Dream Team of writers, I'm definitely looking forward to this. Thanks to Doremi for the audio subbing, the guide of who was talking when was a really nice touch.
Spoiler for for prologue:

sola is a project spearheaded by various game creators.
Naoki Hisaya - co-writer of ONE and Kanon (Nayuki, Ayu, Shiori). His recent works haven't been particular well received. Naru Nanao - character illustrator of Da Capo, Suika, ef (not a writer as someone suggests, but the person in charge of original character art) Elements Garden - BGM composer for many games By the standards of most anime fans, this is hardly a dream team, given how game stories and adaptations are so often criticized. Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see how well these creators can pull off a mainstream project like this. |

After listening to the prologue, I am sort of sold. Noto Mamiko playing the main heroine's role for once? One who has the quirky behaviour of wanting to be in the rain all the time? Can it be? An anime series in which Noto Mamiko not only plays the role of the main heroine, but one who is mysterious as well?
Yie! Not second-fiddle romance interest for once? EVEN BETTER, not a DAMNED TSUNDERE( or mentally-impaired/childhood-promise/etc... take your stereotypical pick) female lead for once! Sounds good to me. Cheers.

blergh.. double post fixy.
Just listened to the prologue. Nice, nice voice work.... what Skane said times five... People have only briefly mentioned the piece of music at the end. It stopped me in my tracks and I just sat and listened. The only thing that kept it from being absolutely perfect was that it wasn't raining outside... This series *may* just hit most of my favorite buttons.... even if they aren't vampires or ghosts....

I'm sensing vampires, ghosts... or people who just live like those
Something with some of the whispery ethereal sad qualities that Tsukuyomi Moon Phase sometimes evoked in between the horror and comedy.

I thought sola is actually sora (空), the Japanese word for sky. They just used the "l" instead of the "r". Dunno why they'd do that though.
I think I'll watch this anime because it's short, a person who was involved in Kanon is involved and the design looks very nice so far.
