No. I think the cover of the 2nd volume of the novel version shows Kyklo wearing 3DMG himself. It was actually created during his time. I read somewhere that the 1st volume of the novel version was actually about the 3DMG creator "Angel Antonen", with Kyklo's story starting in the 2nd volume, but maybe i got that mixed up.
Actually in a summary it is said that Kyklo is the "first user of the 3DMG", so really that theory about him being the beast/ape titan doesn't hold up.

That could be the reason why the ape titan was surprised. What were the exact words of the ape titan tho' ? Last edited by Uchiha Kesuke; 2014-03-18 at 02:18. |

Today, I started reading AOT: Before the Fall in manga format, and IMHO I've been immersed with the story and the pacing. Yes, the art could have been worked upon more improvement, but it does not distract me from following the flow of the story page to page.
Already, finished up to the ninth chapter and still reading with no signs of weariness, intending to binge as many chapters as possible. TBH, with both the mainstream anime and the manga heading to the inevitable conclusion, some studio should pick-up Before the Fall and adapt it into animation so that AOT fans around the world get to savor one last taste of Attack on Titan in anime format in a short-term future. |
