Regarding Caladbolg.

The one Archer is using is a "refined" version of the original that he imagined and traced out. Such is how he managed to use it a an arrow.

Gil's used the original. And if you know the history behind the weapon, this explains why Lancer has to be killed by it.

PS :- God, they made out Gil to be even more of a arrongant idiot in the anime, why is it that they had him pulling out Air when Saber activate Avalon when he had knew the power of Avalon from before in the preview for Ep. 23.

I just realized all this time Shirou's able to acquire more weapons to be imaged everytime Gilgamesh uses his Gate of Babylon. That is, if Gilgamesh doesn't just take out the same weapons everytime.

Ah, but we don't know that yet, do we? There has been some rather... interesting changes in the past episodes...

Archer's bow is just a normal bow made out of a type of material that doesn't exist yet.

hmmm.. I couldn't resist reading the spoilers.., but all & all it realy promisses to be another great episode.., much like the previous one was.

It pleases me to see Fate-Stay once again giving us episodes worthy of on how good the story & characters behind the title realy are; it seems that now until the end, things can only become better.

Or so I hope..

I was surprised to read though, on behalf of Demongod86's part.. that..
Spoiler for Lancer:

Also regarding Ilya in the next episode preview..
Spoiler:

I was surprised though no one mencioned though any aspects regarding the picture of Saber beneath the tree we saw in last's episode's preview.., I had great doubts on what realy happened there.

Never the less.., Shirou's possibility to make a UBW...
Does it still exist even after seeing this episode ? Or can we put an end to this speculation ?, as in.. clearly the story will not end much diferently from the Fate scenario.

i'm very dissapointed at Lancer, can't believe he got defeated so easily..... -________-||||. and plus he didn't have enough screen time in the anime. Can't believe Gil can basically beat all the servants, why can't every one have an equal power servants.......? like gil beating all the other servants is somewhat disturbing in how he can beat them so easily..... -________-|||

After I watch episode 22, I feel the urge to rant.

1. They shorten Shirou's monologue! How could they! That part is (imho) the best part of the Fate route. For me, that part touched my emotion the most. Furthermore, it explains why Shirou acts like a dumbass throughout the series. Yet they shorten this part to the point where I went "wtf happened 10 years ago?!".

At least they didn't skimp on Saber's speech.

2. Lancer got the same treatment as Archer. As with Archer, we donn't know how Lancer die fighting in the game. The characters just escape while Archer/Lancer tries to stall the enemy.

I sort of hope that they would follow the game though

Spoiler for really minor difference:

Hmm, I have to admit the chances are immensely decreasing.
