/expects grimdark subversion where the characters' seaside iddlyic town gets destroyed by an attack and all of the childhood romantic interests as well as any farm animals or birds were killed leading to a WAR IS BAD subplot.

I might not want it to be that dark, but a lot of what you're saying here might make for a nice contrast with some of PAW's other works.


It is a pretty cool trailer, and I'm very interested in seeing how PAW handles a mecha show.

I just saw the pv after watching the pv for dagashi. I didn't even know what to say about PA works with mecha. I'm hype for this but by watching the PV. I get the feeling of argevollen with the MC from Samurai Champloo.

As a mecha fan, I am intrigued with PAW’s first take on the genre. Let’s see from what other mecha series they drew inspiration from. Though from the trailer, I feel Argevollen-vibe and a bit of Fafner (the former is a decent show and the latter is an excellent show). Let’s hope this will be good.
