In all seriousness, I am actually intrigued by the promotional picture which I can only hope will accurately reflect the mood of the story. Tamako Market had its mono no aware moments as well as a lot of untapped potential.

One thing that really bothered me about Tamako Market was that Tamako rarely possessed any emotion other than being her usual cheery self when all kinds of weird stuff were going on around her. If I recall correctly, she only got slightly mad at people just once near the end of the season. I truly wanted her to snap at some point to be honest.
So if Tamako is going to take her love life seriously in this movie, color me interested. |

A part of me still thinks this is a troll . I just don't see Kyoani out of all studios going back to a property that is the worst commercially since Munto. Particularly one as much which goes for where the money is as Kyoani does.
Granted Tamako market wasn't THAT bad. It was fairly average when it comes to Kyoani standards. In recent times, liked it more than Free, about the same as Chuunibyou but less than Hyouka. |

Hmm, you mean that this movie will never actually exist? I can't really see that happening. That would be less 'trolling' and more, well, outright lying. I could see KyoAni trolling the audience in the sense that the movie turns out to have a completely different premise from what one might imagine based on the promotional image, though (like... the movie is about Dera falling in love with another talking bird, and Tamako looks so sad because he has to leave the market! Nothing to do with the love triangle at all).
