I don't know if there will be another fight. Maybe they'll start charging at each other, like the preview seems to show...then, this mystery girl will pop in right in between them. And maybe slaughter Sanageyama or something, I dunno. What I do know is that these previews are very good at teasing people with their use of quick snippets and edits. By omitting whole chunks of the episode like that, it can be hard to pin down what will happen in the next episode. I doubt people who saw the preview for episode 8 expected it to be a more quiet, character-building "calm before the storm" type episode. I wasn't even sure there would be a fight between Ryuko and Inumuta when I first saw the episode 10 preview, since all he did in it was just walk away dismissively, like he'd give up before the fight even started and move onto Jakuzure. Well, those who guessed that were half right, at least.

I partially agree with you the preview makes it too obvious that they are going to fight each other (Sanageyama and Ryuko) which I don't think is gonna happen for starters where are they supposed to fight as the entire arena has been destroyed, unless Sanagyama can fly with his uniform now as well. Personally I think Ryuuko will finish her fight with Jakuzure, something then weird happens to Senketsu and that's when the new girl appears along with Nudish Beach. |

It's not actually her.
Doesn't really match the silhouette of the other girl, who looks more like Satsuki. Of course, it's possible that Ryuuko is remembering things wrong, or that her memories aren't even real to begin with. Given that she's, you know, a robot. |

From this very episode.
From episode 8. Ryuuko's father's killer is not going to be some new character who shows up in the middle of the series. I'm almost certain that it's Satsuki, who probably had very good reasons for killing him. |

^ The fact that silhouette changed from ??? to Satsuki just represents that Ryuuko became really obsessed with Satsuki (I least that's what I think, I highly doubt that Trigger is inconsistent with the flashbacks and silhouette from first episode is just an art error).

Her behaviour suggests quite the contrary. Satsuki definitely knows something regarding murder of Isshin, but she's not the killer. |

She could have told Ryuuko at any time, but she continues to toy with her. That's leading up to something. |

Because, as I've said, her words and actions suggest otherwise? At this point, there's very little reason to think that Satsuki is the killer. She doesn't tell Ryuuko anything simply because it suits her goals (one of them being to find weaknesses in Goku uniforms so she can fix them, as we've seen in this episode; and her main goal, by the look of things, is to build an army of strong Goku uniform users so she can fight her mother, probably because she wants to overthrow her). Satsuki is just using Ryuuko, simple as that. Isshin apparently is a freaking badass. And his coat can regenerate. I wonder what's up with that. Last edited by DiabloCthulhu; 2013-12-16 at 06:46. |
